Provided what we needed, which was a clean bed, shower and kitchen. Its an older home so nothing fancy. No table to eat meals. Steep stairs with no hand rail. The bathroom was clean and the mattresses were comfy. For the price, it was fine and dandy.
Extremely serene little place to escape! An older home in a little mill town atmosphere that it is exceptionally clean and well furnished

We did not stay, we tried to get a refund, but we were unable
We did not stay as there were somethings that we did not like. This is according to the owner a historic place and does not require hand rails on the stairs. The stairs are very narrow and the floors on the second floor dip down. It was not for us. The river is past the fireworks factory. There is a house which is falling down next door. Maybe in our younger years. The contact Ian was responsive. We shortened our time as we feel we did not do our due diligents, but recived no refund for our shortened stay. This is a first for us.
