About this property

Charming antique farmhouse with lake views!

Welcome to my charming early 1800s farmhouse in the beautiful Schoharie Valley. Artist owned and operated, the home is located on a quaint, dead-end road, bordering a gorgeous reservoir, and many 100s of acres of state land. Very serene, peaceful environment with very few neighbors nearby.

This bright, airy, clean farmhouse includes 3 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, a cute front porch, updated kitchen, dining room and living room with smart TV. Kick back, relax, read, enjoy the high speed internet or cuddle up by the fire. Gorgeous views all around; great for romantic getaways, families, and dog lovers.

Enjoy many close by attractions in the northern Catskills; hiking, restaurants, skiing, and outdoorsy adventures. Peacefully isolated but conveniently located only 5 minutes from Cobleskill Village, 10 minutes from Middleburgh village. Easy to pop into town for shopping and amenities : )

Windham mountain is about 40 mins south for skiing. Cooperstown is 40 mins north.

Big and cozy farmhouse with views
Had an amazing stay here with my partner and our dog. The place is actually pretty huge and would be great for a large group. The location is perfect - close to many area attractions but also secluded and quiet for a nice getaway. Brian was super communicative the whole time too. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to get away for a peaceful retreat!

Rustic Charm and Amazing Views!
First and foremost, Brian was very accommodating! We were in town to visit our son and needed to check in early to attend an event. Not only did Brian make that happen, he actually messaged us even earlier to let us know that we could check in as soon as we were ready. After we checked in Brian made sure that we knew he was available if we needed anything at all. Brian's farmhouse is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing getaway! With water views tucked in-between the mountains, the property looked like it was pulled from an Andrew Wyeth landscape. The rustic charm, mix of antiques, and eclectic art work gave this 1800s home a unique personality. If you want to stay connected to the world, the home does offer wifi and is equipped with a smart tv. The best part is you get all of this charm and you are still only 5 minutes from town. Thanks for being a great host with an amazing property! We hope to be back again soon!
