This luxurious and cozy cabin is tucked into the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo with gorgeous mountain views and the tranquility of nature. Besides enjoying your time at this getaway, venture out to see the Great Sand Dunes National Park and hike the Zapata Waterfall, both less than 10 minutes from the cabin. Don't forget to relax in the hot tub after hiking or cozy up with your favorite drink by the fireplace. After dark, gaze upward on a clear night for an incredible stargazing opportunity.
The Space:
This cabin is perfect for couples, families, and adventurers alike!
The 3 bedrooms (1 king, 2 queens) and open living space will comfortably suit the needs of up to 6 adults.
Guest Access:
Please do not venture further than 50 feet from the house during your stay as we have no fence marking the property and we prefer to keep the view natural.
The Neighborhood:
The home is a part of a lovely HOA surrounded by nature so please respect the nature and the neighbors by observing a quiet time from 9pm to 8am as well as turning off outdoor lights when not in use. The home is in a Dark Sky Association certified area so minimizing light exposure at night allows everyone to enjoy the breathtaking stars!

Note 1: We require guests to sign a rental agreement, which states they will adhere to the property rules.
Note 2: There are NO window blinds in the house, but we provide sleeping masks if you want to snooze a bit in the mornings :)

Beautiful property
We stayed here for a few days while visiting the great sand dunes NP. It was a very clean, beautiful home. There were little extra amenities like spices, coffee, tea that are much appreciated. We would stay here again for sure!

This is a gorgeous property, immaculately maintained and very conveniently located to the Sand Dunes, which was the purpose of our trip. The views from every window are spectacular and the hot tub was such a nice bonus after a long day hiking. Highly recommend.

The property was as described - comfortable and full of amenities, located in an area from which beautiful and awe-inspiring scenery was visible from every room in the property as well as the outside patios and deck. Celina and Seth were very gracious hosts and easily accessible. We had a wonderful stay!

Awesome location and beautiful views!
This property accommodated our families perfectly. We had everything we needed between the spacious inside and the outdoor patios. The drive to the sand dunes was very easy and we loved coming back to the hot tub to relax. I still can’t get over the views from every single window in the house, from the sunrise to the stars. It was magical. Would definitely visit here again, the only change I would make is fighting harder for the master bedroom :)

Close to Heaven
The Outdoor Living Spaces are superb with a covered patio, open patio, deck and hot tub. It is so quiet and so dark at night the stars just pop out like crazy. A Slice of Heaven on earth. The kitchen has absolutely everything you need. The beds and linens were so comfortable. We have never stayed at a VRBO that is so well supplied. The views are magnificent from every window. Everything about the house is first class!

Gorgeous location with incredible views from every window. This home is well stocked and has excellent bedding, beds and pillows. Furniture is nice and comfortable. The hot tub, patio and patio furniture is great too. It is immaculately clean, which we appreciated with 2 -1year olds. We’ve never stayed in a cleaner VRBO, truly spotless!! The one and only thing I would change, adding window blinds. None of the windows have blinds, including the bathrooms. I understand the views shouldn’t be shrouded, however it was hard to have babies take naps with so much incredible light! We would love to stay here again in the future, if grand babies come we will bring a car windshield cover or something similar for baby naps. Cecelia and Seth were awesome and responded to evey request within minutes. Stay here!! You won’t regret it.

This house was stunning! Our family of 4 had such a great time! The house had so many extras and the views were breath taking! Absolutely loved coming back to the amazing hot tub after playing at the sand dunes and visiting the gator park! We stayed in and cooked both nights! It was like being home in my own kitchen! We would absolutely stay here again!
