THE PROPERTY

This spacious high-end condo offers 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with an open spacious floor plan. The home has included appliances and all of the cooking utensils you need to dine with the sunsets on the terrace.

The kitchen and living area open up via large sliding glass doors to a huge terrace where you can relax and enjoy the tropical Costa Rican breezes. There is also a four-person dining table and an extra 6 person dining table on the large terrace. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed and an amazing en-suite bathroom with a rain shower and separate bathtub to enjoy long, relaxing soaks.

The Azul Paraíso development has a beautiful and unique pool for each separate building within the complex. As a result, your pool is shared only with five other units to allow for maximum privacy.

Ocotal Beach is only a five-minute drive away and is where the popular Father Rooster’s restaurant is, and a 10-minute drive to Playas del Coco, where you can find a variety of restaurants, bars, shops, banks, supermarkets, pharmacies, etc. The condo is located 30 minutes from Liberia International Airport.

Holy Week Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a satisfied and happy stay the host was very attentive to any problem. He provided a new hair dry, during our stay because they didn’t had one and also was active to any questions we had regarding the studio apartment. My only feedback is to provide from the check the password and user of the WiFi. We had troubles the first day with the internet connection and didn’t had reach to personal hotspot.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Azul Paraiso was great. The condo was everything described in other reviews. The veranda overlooking the ocean was huge and very comfortable. The master suite just off the veranda was terrific and the bed was very comfortable. The master bathroom was great with a huge walk-in shower/tub. it took us a while to figure out that to get hot water the faucet needed to be turned to C not H, but Byron helped us out with that. Byron was very helpful and responsive to all out inquiries and even set up a great fishing trip for us. The kitchen was also well stocked with cooking utensils. Some sharp knives would be nice, but overall, it has everything you need as well as the porch barbeque, to prepare a few meals while we were there. The location is a little challenging to get to, but once you come and go a few times it's not a problem. There is easy access to two beaches close by and it's about a 10-minute drive into Coco. If you want to be in the thick of things this may not be the place for you, but if you want a nice quiet, well-appointed place to stay during your visit to Costa Rica this is it. I would highly recommend this property.

Excellent spot!

Fantastic spot with the best view and largest balcony overlooking the ocean, palm trees, and pool. The condo is large, and was well equipped with what we needed, including a pool floatie and plenty of beach towels. Awesome rain shower. The outdoor chairs (specifically the rocking chair) were very comfortable. We spent so much time just relaxing on our balcony. Black out curtains in the bedroom. It's in its own quiet neighborhood of Ocotal which is a nice break from the busy streets of Coco. Highly recommend this spot!

Nice condo, needing some maintenance

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo has a spectacular view and is located in a really tranquil area away from Coco and all its noise (so... no restaurants or cafés). Easily accessible for my father (80 y.o.) with limited mobility. Nice furniture and great beds. The TV set is also new.The guard (Greivin) was really friendly and willing to answer any of our questions. The unit and the pool were clean.There were though several maintenance problems that must be addressed:1. There was a sewer gas smell in the secondary bathroom. TERRIBLE! We had to put a cover on the shower drain and try to seal the gas leak after each shower. The commode in this bathroom releases some sewer gas from the base as well.2. The dishwasher did not work: it started, but didn't make the work. So, we had to make the dishes ourselves.3. The shower head in the master bathroom must be replaced.4. Several windows (in the bathrooms) have broken handles, which makes them difficult to operate.5. One of the double pane glazing panels in the kitchen is not hermetic and shows condensation in inside the air chamber. Must be replaced.Most of these are easy to fix, but the shower drain and the windows' problems seem to have been there for quite a while, so I recommend the managers to attend these as soon as possible to improve the guests' experience.Making the reservation was quite complicated in comparison with other platforms like Air B&B or other property managers' out there.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay at Azul Paraiso. It is off the beaten path a bit, which we liked. Very peaceful. The property was very spacious for our family of four and provided all the amenities we needed to have an enjoyable week-long stay.
