Stunning beachfront Villa Narciso (Daffodil) is located in the pristine gated community of Bahia Pez Vela. Only 30 minutes from the Liberia airport. Step directly onto our very private black sand beach from the terrace. Stunning, unobstructed ocean views. Sleep and wake to the sound of the surf. Great for families and small groups. Sleeps 6 comfortably. Our 2,100 SF, 3 bedroom, 3 bath, modern villa comes equipped with all amenities to provide a carefree vacation.
Enjoy the open-concept main floor with a recently renovated full kitchen, living, and dining room. Large windows and screened doors open to spectacular terrace and beachfront. Three large bedrooms including a master with a newly renovated en suite and a private balcony overlooking the beach and ocean. Second bedroom with two double beds and spectacular ocean and beach views. Third bedroom with 2 twin beds and lush garden views. Recently renovated main bathroom with glass walk-in shower and rain head.

Great views and very quiet

If you’re looking for nice accommodations, a quiet area, and great views, this is the place. The pool was rarely used by other guests, the beach was clean, and the entire neighborhood was quiet. You are going to want a car if you want to be able to run to town or eat off-site. The on-site restaurant is very nice.

Wonderful beach villa

This is our second VRBO stay at Villa Narciso in Bahia Pez Vela. It's a very nice villa; literally right next to the pool and the beach. The listing is exactly as described. The hosts are very good communicators. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Wonderful stay at the beach

Beautiful house in an amazing location, right on the beach. We were staying as a family with young children ages 2 and 5, and everything was extremely convenient. The beach, pool, restaurant are all a few feet away. Thanks for a memorable vacation!

We wanted a beach front property and John's place is exactly what the doctor ordered! Great location and the staff was super nice. The restaurant was also convenient and fantastic food.

Beautiful stay on beachfront property.

Excellent stay steps from the ocean! We are a family of 5 and enjoyed our stay with the awesome, well equipped home. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and the balcony in the master was great for relaxation. The pool was steps away and the onsite restaurant had great food. We will be back!

Wonderful Family Trip

This property location is so beautiful. The ease of access to the beach and pool couldn’t be easier. The manager coordinated all of our excursions and they were all great experiences. Great snorkeling and beach time right on our beach each day. The only thing I wasn’t prepared for was the area surrounding the resort. It was much more rugged and less developed than I expected. Our family enjoyed the trip and the host was incredibly prompt and helpful in responding to any questions or needs that we had.

Week in paradise

We had the most wonderful week at Villa Narcisco! The location directly on the beach was perfect. The pool and restaurant (outstanding food) were just steps away and the staff there were so friendly and helpful. Lovely Abigail in the office arranged transportation to and from the airport as well as a rental car and an amazing full day excursion to the rain forest! We'll be back! Thank You!

Great week at Bahia Pez Vela!

On our first trip to Costa Rica we stayed seven nights at this beautiful property with our three sons, 11, 16, and 18. We had an amazing time! The beach was spectacular and never crowded. The snorkeling right outside our door was as good or better than what we saw on our snorkeling excursion! The pool and common areas were nice and clean, and the staff was outstanding. Food at the restaurant on site, as well as nearby Father Roosters, was great. The unit itself was clean and comfortable and the location couldn’t have been better. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing condo

Our family of 6 (2 adults and 4 older kids) stayed here for a week. The views from the condo are gorgeous and the beachfront location is amazing. The bay is so perfect for snorkeling, swimming in the ocean and exploring the tide pools. We also enjoyed the pools! We booked a fishing and snorkel trip through the management office and both were great.. so convenient to be picked up right on the bay. The condo had plenty of space for the six of us but we spent most of our time on the outdoor patio. Even when it rained it is covered so we could still be outside. The kitchen has everything you need. Would definitely recommend staying here!

BEYOND 5 STARS

This was the ideal property for us (2 couples). The villa was immaculate and had everything we needed, including a roomy & well-stocked kitchen. The grounds are beautiful, the beach is gorgeous and never crowded, and the pools (also never crowded) overlook the ocean. The food at the restaurant (conveniently located poolside) is excellent and everyone who works there and in the management office makes you feel welcome. This was a total 5-star experience and we felt very lucky to be there. If you stay at Bahia Pez Vela, take the river boat tour recommended by Cesar (the concierge) - it was wonderful from start to finish, with lots of beautiful and memorable sights. You'll enjoy it and learn a lot about the countryside and wildlife of Guanacoste.

Great property, great view, great restaurant

Overall a great spot for my family. The ocean is warm and inviting, the three bedroom villa is perfect for a family (including a blender for pina collodas). The hotel manager is accessible and helpful in making suggestions for outings. Small niggling things....master bathroom doesn't have hot water in shower (other shower does), and the back bedroom no wifi access. However, these truly are small things. The hotel restaurant is a bit expensive, however, you get a truly excellent meal - breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Wait times a bit lengthy, but hey, what's the rush?! The check in was super smooth. Uber is available to get to town if you don't rent a car. Worth the trip!

Paradise!

Villa #3 was better than advertised! We were spoiled in our own little bay of paradise for our first trip to Costa Rica! Communication with John and Cesar was friendly, prompt and thorough. The villa's location was just what we wanted for our week of sun and relaxation. We enjoyed having easy access to Soluna, the restaurant/bar on the property, and took a walk to Father Roosters on the beautiful Playa Ocotal one day as well. There are many markets for groceries in both Ocotal and Coco. We did not have a car but Cesar set us up with drivers for a few trips and Uber was easy and very accessible as well. The villa was spotless and well equipped for dining in.The black sand beach so soft. The water delightful. Many beautiful birds and we even had a couple days of howler monkey views! Our only complaint was that we didn't book a longer stay, so we will be back! Thank you!

Great location

The property was in a great location. The condominium was right on the beach and no more than 100 yards from a three tier pool and restaurant. We ate at the restaurant once for dinner and a couple times for lunch. it was definitely one of the better restaurants we visited. The Condo is comfortable and the rooms are sufficiently large. All appliances and bathrooms, air conditions etc worked well. The kitchen could have been slightly better stocked in terms of cookware but served its purpose. The only thing they missed on check-in was to leave a bit of soap for the clothes and dish washer but i am sure they would have brought it to us if we had asked. The concierge at the complex and gate staff were very helpful and professional. It was a great vacation (snorkeling off the beach and Monkeys in the trees just hanging out on a number of days). I would definitely recommend this place to other potential guests.

Pure Paradise

This was not our first trip to Costa Rica or to Bahia pez Vela so we knew what to expect. Villa Narciso did not disappoint. The location is the best with incredible unobstructed views of a beautiful black sand beach framed by palm trees. The Villa is very well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The snorkel and pool noodles were very appreciated as the snorkeling was quite good right off the beach. John was great to work with and very responsive to any of our questions or requests. We also cannot say enough about the staff at Bahia Pez Vela. Everyone from the office team to the food and beverage staff and even the landscapers are so friendly. They make you feel that they have known you for years. The pools were all very clean as was the Villa itself. The food at Maracuya is excellent but there are also many great restaurants right down the road in Playas del Coco if you want to try somewhere different. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we will definately return.

Great Place for a Nice Vacation

John was great to work with. We had to adjust the length of our stay by one day and John was quick to ammend our agreement, adjust the price and refund the money. Cesar and Jacky were very helpful in scheduling a couple of outings, coordinating airport transfers, calling a taxi and answering any questions we had. When we checked in the key we were given didn't open the main door so they gave us the code instead. No problem really. In hindsight, the key might have worked on the patio doors but we never tried. The food at the restaurant was really good with the exception of one meal, and the pricing was fair. The house was as advertised, not including the terrace being extended and covered, which was nice. Being so close to the ocean, the pool and the restaurant was a huge plus. The howler monkeys are cool but, but pretty loud at sunrise. We didn't feed the magpies, so they didn't really bother us. A racoon knocked over a half a bottle of wine in the hour we walked over to the restaurant for dinner, and then watched while I cleaned it up. Maybe it was just our experience, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend the Chef4U private dinner cooked at the villa. Overall, this is one of the nicest VRBO properties I've stayed at and would most definitely go back.

We had an amazing stay here with our family of 5 (3 teenagers). The house was well stocked with everything we needed and very clean. Beautiful landscaping around the patio. Just steps away from an amazing little beach. The beach has rocks on the outside and we saw tons of fish snorkeling. The middle of the beach has no rocks and is great for playing in the waves. The office staff had great communication and helped us arrange our rental car and excursions. We are already planning our next trip!

Well needed week of rest and relaxation!

The villa was just as it was described, beautiful and very clean! What a great week we all had! From the friendly staff on campus, whether it was the groundskeepers, Security, everybody at the restaurant, everyone was super friendly.The view from the deck was spectacular. Every morning I got up and had my coffee as I sat outside and listen to the birds and the waves lapping on the shore. I have already recommended the Villa to several of my friends.

Why they chose this property

We have been staying at Bahia Pez Vela for a number of years and made the decision to purchase our villa in 2017. One prerequisite for our family was that any home we purchased had to be on the beach. Bahia Pez Vela is a secure community of only 40 homes. It offers all the amenities you need for a quiet relaxing stay but is close enough to take advantage of everything Costa Rica has to offer.

What makes this property unique

Without a doubt, our location on the beach sets us apart. Because of its strict environmental laws, there are few homes in Costa Rica that offer beachfront living. From our terrace to the sand is only 50 steps. The views over the beach and ocean are spectacular!
