Make Family memories you won't stop talking about for years! The Sunset House is a cross between a Cowboy Cabin in the woods and a luxury home with Lake Michigan views. It has 5 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths, 4 King Beds, plus one Queen, a seperate Indoor/Outdoor 3 Season Room that is a Teenagers dream come true (see pics), Karaoke, Corn Hole, S'mores and Ping Pong! Life doesn't get better than this...

LOCATION! LOCATION!! LOCATION!!!

This home is in the center of the St. Joe/Benton Harbor/Stevensville universe!

Located just off of Red Arrow Highway and Interstate 94, The Sunset House is in the historic, woodsy neighborhood the Local's call, "Where Tosi's is!"

Walk straight out our front door and turn left where you are steps from the best sunset viewing in the county at Glenlord Beach Park. (Sorry, due to decades of erosion, there is no beach, but there is a bluff with spectacular views). The park has benches, picnic tables, lots of Local's and dogs, NO beach.

But, all is not lost! Grab an adult beverage and join the neighbors every evening for a view of a Sunset that can be down right spiritual. (They don't call us the Sunset Coast for nothing) ;-)

You can walk, or drive to Tosi's 5 Star Restaurant and Bit of Swiss Pastries just around the corner. Hit Coaches for the Big Game and ETRE' Farm's is just a 3 minute drive straight down Glenlord Rd for weddings and events.

I 94 Interstate, Red Arrow Hwy, Crimson Cafe, Meijer's, Aldi, Tractor Supply and other shopping and restaurants are all within one mile.

In fact, there is so much to do here that you will need to come back again and again to do everything on your wish list...Wineries! Breweries! World famous Golf Courses! 13 Beaches! Wellness Weekends, Casinos! Snow Shoeing! Sledding! Bike Trails! Hiking! 5 Star Restaurants! Karaoke! and the list goes on...

If you attempt to sneak a pet in you will lose your deposit and be a $2500 claim made on your insurance and a derogatory review left. No exceptions!

Family Wedding in the area

We filled the beds with our family in town for a wedding in the area. Diana was very engaged before and during our stay. We had plenty of space to visit, to enjoy meals and to primp before our reason for staying. The short walk to the overlook at the end of the road was enjoyed by our group a couple of nights for sunset. The weather changed for hot and humid to windy and rainy during our stay. We didn’t use the fireplace but enjoyed the grill our last night.

Fun Girls' Time

We enjoyed our stay for our college friends reunion! The owner was extremely friendly and helpful with anything we needed! The location was great.....close to Lake Michigan, restaurants, and shopping....Just what we were looking for! We loved the house (although it does have a lot of steps). There was plenty of space for the five of us! The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed! We had a wonderful time!

Wonderful for our birthday celebration!

9 adults stayed at Sunset House. The college students loved the privacy of the 3 season room; they could play games to their heart's content and sleep in without being bothered. The rest of us appreciated the wonderful beds and the lovely soft sheets and towels. The view from the deck was gorgeous and if you need an extra dose of the lake, you can take a short walk down to a small park. The kitchen was well equipped and there were two grills. All in all a wonderful place to celebrate my husband's 80th birthday. Be aware that there are some level changes...stairs up to the front door; three steps down to the lovely living room, one step down to the dining room with it's large table. The primary bedroom is upstairs and huge. It has a beautiful en-suite bath. The two other bedrooms are large and have king size beds. All in all a real find.

Lovely place in Stevensville

We quite enjoyed our stay at the Sunset House. It is very conveniently located to restaurants, bakeries, groceries, etc. and just a couple houses from a lovely little park with a wonderful view of the sunset (and benches to watch it from). 10 minutes drive to downtown St. Joe and the beaches. The property is shady and has nice deck areas and a screened porch to enjoy outdoors. It has plenty of parking for a larger group, and several seating areas so folks can be together or apart as they prefer. Bedrooms are spacious. The only caveat is that you have a step up or down to (seems like) almost every room in the house, including the master bath; so maybe a consideration.

The Sunset House has the greatest location in the St. Joe area! When you look outside, you see Lake Michigan and are surrounded by trees and natural habitat. But go a country block or a 1/4 mile and you have the best resturants, entertainment, shopping, groceries and all within walking distance or a short, SHORT drive! LOCATION! LOCATION!! LOCATION!!!
