Our lakefront home is tucked right at the shore with stunning southern exposure, sandy water frontage and spectacular views all around. We designed the space with the quintessential Northwoods feel in mind while keeping it a modern and comfortable family-friendly experience.

It's the perfect peaceful Northwoods setting in a modern home while still being centrally located.
You are only:

● 10-15 min to St. Germain & Eagle River
● 25-30 min to Rhinelander & Minocqua

**IMPORTANT: During peak summer Season (June-August), we maintain a 7 night minimum booking requirement (FRIDAY-FRIDAY)

We designed the space with the quintessential Northwoods feel in mind while keeping it a modern and comfortable family-friendly experience.

THE LAKE:

At 732 acres with a maximum depth of 32 feet, Dam Lake is the largest and deepest of the five lakes that make up the Sugar Camp Chain of Lakes, which includes a total of 2,300 acres of water all navigable by boat. The outflow of the Sugar Camp Chain of Lakes is into Rainbow Flowage, which is accessible by canoe or kayak from Dam Lake. The chain is surrounded by the American Legion State Forest, with minimal shoreline development, which makes our location truly peaceful.

Dam Lake is at the convergence of several of the snowmobile trails that cross the area around Eagle River – the “Snowmobile Capital of the World.”

Musky (Class A Musky Lake)
Crappie
Northern Pike
Walleye
Largemouth & Smallmouth Bass

Enjoy private use of the brand-new 32ft dock, and the public boat launch is on the lake, just 2.8 miles away.

THE HOME:

Walk into the open-concept main level with cathedral ceilings and a breathtaking, south-facing lakeside wall of windows that blanket everything with natural light. There are 180 degrees of lake views to enjoy while lounging on the deep sectional, sharing a meal at the dining table, or brewing your morning cup in our fully-equipped kitchen. A bedroom with a queen bed (new memory foam mattresses on every bed), and a full bathroom with shower/bathtub are also part of the main level.

Come upstairs to our favorite room in the house: The loft! We have made this space with kids in mind, but honestly, we love it just as much! There are two sets of twin trundle beds (up to 4 single beds), and a half-bath up in the loft level.

Head downstairs to the lower level family room, where you or the kids can hang out and watch movies, play foosball or have an old-school game on the vintage Nintendo 64 (the nostalgia sold us on this one!). A cozy third bedroom (queen bed& 14" memory foam mattress), and a third bathroom with walk-in shower are also here in the lower level. The laundry room is downstairs for your use, as well (along with free-and-clear detergent).

Outside: right through the dining room doors await the amazing Northwoods and stunning views of Dam Lake. Drink your morning coffee by the dock and watch the sunrise (my favorite!) or gather by the campfire at night and watch the millions of stars above you. Take the kayaks or canoe out on the lake or catch fish right from the dock!

Whether it's a family summer Northwoods vacation,, a fall getaway to see the stunning colors, or a winter trip for skiing, snowmobiling, or ice fishing with friends, there is so much to enjoy year round, all while being just a short drive to all that Eagle River, Saint Germain, Rhinelander and Minocqua have to offer.

*The house comfortably sleeps eight, but can fit up to ten people (and a baby!) We are happy to host all ten, but keep in mind it'll be a little bit cozier.

*Parking: There is space for four average sized-vehicles in the driveway (or three vehicles and a trailer). Please contact us for details if you need additional parking for cars or trailers.

*Please note there is no automatic dishwasher in the kitchen. When the days are packed with activities, we will often use paper plates! ;)

*Security camera disclosure: there is a Ring doorbell in place at the porch by the front door, which keeps ongoing video and audio recording of the exterior entrance area.
