Cranberry Lake Escape

The house is located on Cranberry Lake, on the Eagle River Chain of Lakes. Enjoy your own private beach with 100’ of frontage! Enjoy our fully furnished lake house with new kitchen, dining and living rooms. Relax with no worries and great memories!

Our home offers a family-friendly environment for all ages. Easy lake access to a shallow beach area for splashing in the water. In the summer, spend your days on the water or sitting on the screened-in porch or deck. In the winter, snuggle up next to the fire or get outside to snowmobile with easy access to nearby trails. Cook your
meals in our fully equipped kitchen.

There are four bedrooms - two on the main floor (one king bed and one queen bed), and two on the lower level (one queen, a crib and a twin trundle bed). Lower level features a comfortable conventional / inflatable queen sleeper sofa. There is a full bathroom on each level.

For the younger members, there is a pack and play, booster seat and space-saver high chair available for your use.

There are two guest slip available for your boat. One on the dock side for boats up to 20'. A second U - shaped boat slip for larger boats.

Local contact available for any issues that may arise during your stay.

5.5% WI Sales Tax and 4.5% Town of Washington Room Tax will be applied to all reservations. A security deposit provision of $500 is required for all bookings - paid through HomeAway payments. Credit card will be billed only for deposit claims. See rental agreement for details.

To be as transparent as possible, we would like to inform you that we have two security cameras on the exterior of the house. One is focused on the driveway / garage, mainly so we can verify that we actually did close the garage door! The other is on the back of the house, focused on the lake. This is primarily for our use when at work and would rather be up north!

Lovely, impeccably maintained home on a chain of 28 lakes. Located within a short distance to many restaurants. Northwoods Children's Museum is not to be missed for children 2-10 years. Deer wandered through the property almost daily. Would love to return.

Fantastic place!

A wonderful place to stay! Beach access for the littles was perfect and they loved the wildlife! Fishing was great- caught a 35" musky! Will be back!

Winter Weekend Getaway

Cranberry Lake Escape

We had 10 people for the week and loved our time. Accommodations were very nice and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We spent the week boating around Cranberry Lake as well as the adjoining CatFish Lake, fishing, fires and family games. We also saw many deer that were so friendly they came up to the property and seemed very socialized. I highly recommend this property. Ryan and Lindsey were very responsive answering questions.

Wonderful!

This is our third year staying at Cranberry Lake Escape. We absolutely love it! The lake view is spectacular! The home is beautiful, spacious and clean. Love the fact that they have a pontoon boat available at their dock to rent for the entire week. Hosts are super responsive to any questions that arise. We look forward to continuing our summer vacations at Cranberry Lake Escape and would highly recommend this cabin as your Northwoods vacation destination!

Great location

We loved the location of the cabin! As for the inside of the cabin, there was only a window AC unit which did not keep the cabin cool. There is white carpeting throughout which makes it difficult to keep things clean considering it’s sandy and wet outside. There were a few stains on the white carpeting that we noticed when we arrived. At the end of our vacation, we got money taken out of our deposit for a Rugdoctor to remove food stains under the table on the white carpet. The neighbors were also putting in a dock next door so that blocked most of our lake view for the week and was noisy (not the owners fault! But wish we would’ve known they would be doing work all week). We opted not to rent their boat because we had our own but there was no space to park it since their own 2 personal boats were in both spaces. While the property manager was helpful, we rent yearly up north and know how the check in and check out process works. The property managers came 3 times throughout the week and it felt like they were checking in on us. It would’ve been nice to have privacy considering the cost for a week. It kind of felt like we had a babysitter and we were always wondering when they were going to stop by since there was no warning. One day they came to clean out the owners boat because they were coming up after our visit. Checkout is at 9am so we thought preparing stuff like that could’ve waited until after we checked out. We know they just started renting out this cabin and just wanted to let others and them know what the experience was like. Overall, it was a nice cabin with great chain access!

Three retired friends enjoyed a great fall weekend at Cranberry Lake Escape.The home had everything we needed. We appreciated the comfy beds, nice grill, great deck and dock, We also liked the kayaks and watching the resident deer family. I would recommend.

Check in was easy. A beautiful new kitchen was provided with plenty of cookware (bring your own kitchen pantry items: salt,pepper, oil).The open concept included a large table for 6 but we were able to sqeeze in 8. The living room included comfortable recliners and a nice sofa. The screened in porch although small was very enjoyable!

Great Lakefront Rental!

Our stay was great. The owners were very easy to communicate with before, during, and after our stay. We had three adults in their 70's, Two adults in their 40's, and two 12 year olds and everyone loved it. The waterfront and views from the house were better than expected even. Great dock space with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy sitting by the water. Easy location to get to town and close to bars/restaurants. Would definitely return again. This was one of the nicest properties we have stayed in the area. Great location on the lake with wide water views and easy access to the chain. We also had a daily visit from a local deer.

Amazing Northwoods Retreat

This is our 5th year staying at this cabin. Love everything about it. Gorgeous views, love the pontoon, the kitchen remodel was beautiful and as always the cabin had everything we could possibly need. Absolutely perfect vacation!

Beautiful Northwoods Cabin

This was our 4th year vacationing at Cranberry Lake Escape. It is absolutely beautiful and crosses off everything we would ever want for our family vacation. The lake view and outside yard is gorgeous! Everything you might need is supplied in the cabin. We rent their pontoon boat for the week and the daily rides are the highlight of our trip. Our family cannot wait to return next year!!

Great Eagle River Vacation Home

The Cranberry Lake Escape home is a beautiful and well maintained property. The home is extremely well taken care of and well stocked with all the supplies to make a stay enjoyable. The setup of the home was great with two bedrooms up stairs and two downstairs. The outdoor areas are the best part of the home as the gently sloping yard leads to a perfect shallow area for kids in the water. This is a perfect retreat on the Eagle River chain of lakes.

Beyond Wonderful!

We have rented properties a lot and by far, this was one of the best. The house was great and the setting was picture perfect, but the reason I say "one of the best" was because the house was so well stocked and the owners were a pleasure to communicate with. A lot of things were there that I have not seen in other houses - little extras like candles, aluminum foil, baggies, firewood, extra paper products, laundry soap. The list goes on and those small things can mean a lot. Nice beds and bedding. All in all, it was a wonderful, relaxing stay. Fished and kayaked and enjoyed the company of friends. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Great Location

Our group of eight enjoyed our long weekend at this cabin. It was just as described and in fantastic shape upon our arrival. Great location, and a very nice view of the lake. We will certainly be back.

Up North Getaway

Our family generations have been vacationing in the Eagle River area since the 1960s. With a passion for the north woods, we have decided to purchase a house and share it with others who share passion for this area.

Why they chose this property

This property has been well maintained, located in a desirable area and has many amenities. What was perhaps one of the best features for us was the level yard down to the lake. As many properties we viewed were on a lake front, this property requires no steps to get to our sandy beach.

Cranberry Lake is on the largest inland chain of lakes in the world. Significant opportunities to visit lake accessible restaurants after a day on the water.

And you are conveniently located within a 10 minute drive to Eagle River.
