• The Highlander is centrally located in the heart of Hochatown, tucked just far enough into the forest to offer a peaceful setting without highway noise.
• Located within the Timber Creek development, you’ll be within a mile of Sasquatch’s Candy Den and just two miles from local favorites like Shuck Me, Okie Girls, and Mountain Fork Brewery. Beavers Bend State Park, the Hochatown resort area, and the golf course are all just a short drive away.
• The final stretch to the cabin includes less than a mile of gravel road, which is typical for the area. Most standard vehicles navigate it without issue.

The cabin was great, just like the pictures. We spent plenty of time around the fire pit outside. There was a minor issue with one of the outdoor fireplaces but the host had it fixed within an hour. Overall, out stay was excellent.

Overall the cabin was beautiful, clean, spacious, and it was designed and decorated perfectly. I went to get away from the hustle and bustle of my everyday life and the noise of the city. I enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit the most. Our Host Jennifer was excellent when it come to meeting our needs. She was ALWAYS a phone call or text away. The only hang ups I had was getting to the cabin. I was a bit confused on the instructions that were given and got lost, but I ended up finding my way. The other was the noise of the builders since this was a growing community of cabins. Overall my crew and I enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend.

We are the Graham Family. We have four children. Two are adults who are out on their own, and two are still in school and keep us young! We live in the DFW area and love traveling! Vacations always bring us back together as a family which is extremely important to us. We fell in love with the Broken Bow/Hochatown/Beavers Bend area back in 2016. We knew on our very first trip to the area that we would love to own a cabin as soon as we could make it happen. We started our cabin owner experience with Wolf's Ridge and quickly knew that hosting and sharing the Broken Bow experience was something we really love to do. We added The Highlander in 2022 after having a two year long dream of creating a cabin that will honor The Highlands of Scotland - another place that our family dearly loves. For us, Broken Bow is about reducing the distractions that we always have at home and really reconnecting with family and friends. It is about building lifelong memories in the gorgeous natural surroundings while having a blast with all of the amenities and with all of the nearby activities. It gives us great pleasure to share our cabins with other families and allow them to have the same experiences creating new memories that will last a lifetime!
