Four retired guys on a five night golf outing. This is our 3rd year to stay at this property and it was the best year yet. Great amenities, fantastic hosts, spacious and clean rooms, and great value! Couldn't ask for anything more! Already planning for year 4!!!

Wonderful Weekend

The Cliffside Oasis is a wonderful property. The home is well maintained and immaculate with plenty of room for everyone in our party. We loved sitting on the back deck with our feet in the pool and enjoying the view from the hilltop. I would highly recommend and hope to stay again in the future.

Family Get Together

The house was perfect for our large family. The main space provided plenty of seating and there were plenty of bedrooms to retreat to for privacy. We so enjoyed sitting on the deck each evening and using the pool. Quick response time from the owners. Home was clean and well maintained.

This is the second time we've stayed with Rachel and Rickey and it was the best visit yet! The house and grounds exceeded our expectations. And the hosts made communication a breeze. Highly recommend and already looking forward to our third visit!!

Beautiful house in wonderful location

We were in Spicewood for a wedding and the location couldn't have been any better for our needs. The house was beautiful and the layout worked very well for us. I would have loved to have spent more time relaxing at the property but we were busy with events. I would highly recommend this property and would stay again.

Thanksgiving Escape

The house is really special; great layout, thoughtful features and touches throughout, and created a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere for our family. The great room at the hub of it all is truly a great room, with a well-equipped kitchen, ample space to spread out and spend time together. We also appreciated the generous check-in/out times that gave us a full three days of enjoyment. From the design/execution of the house, it's clear the hosts are thoughtful and that extends to their interactions throughout the process. Couldn't have been happier with our stay.

Golf and basketball

Four retired friends have been getting together annually over the past 10 years for golf and March Madness. This was our first time in the hill country and Rachel/Rickey were the perfect hosts with the perfect venue. The four of us were unanimous in our belief that this was the best year yet! River House

Absolutely beautiful house. Fully equipped, and very comfortable. This was a reward trip for work associates and their significant others. We all had a fantastic time. I had no need to contact the owners. Everything needed was provided to me beforehand, and the house was in excellent condition. No issues. Highly recommended!

Perfect House/Location for our 21st Annual 'Chick Trip'

Beautiful, spacious, clean, nicely decorated. For our group of six( 3 sisters, 2 daughters and a daughter-n-law) it was so nice to come home to the large, comfy Great Room and relax at the end of the day. Or sit out on the deck under starry Texas skies around the firepit. King size bedrooms were so comfortable(especially if sharing) and the other bedrooms just right if you wanted your own space. We were off by 9 a.m. to Austin, Hill Country or San Antonio for the day. So it was wonderful to come back to such a welcoming home each night. Thank you Rachel and Ricky for making our 'Chick Trip' to Texas a wonderful experience.

Thanksgiving Getaway

Rachel was an exceptional and accommodating host from the moment we inquired about the property. After booking, she kept us well-informed, providing everything we needed to prepare for our arrival. The property itself was ideal for our extended Thanksgiving getaway with our two teenage boys, in-laws, and dogs. The layout of the home is perfect, offering plenty of space for everyone to gather in the great room (which includes the kitchen, living, and dining areas) while also providing the option to retreat to one of the four bedrooms, each with its own full bath. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary appliances, plates, and utensils for preparing meals. The outdoor space has plenty of seating and a cozy fire pit for toasting marshmallows. Additionally, the fully fenced yard allowed our dogs to roam freely and explore. If you're looking for the perfect place to unwind in the Hill Country, with easy access to day trips into Austin, this is the ideal spot.

Incredible Stay w/ Family

We had an amazing stay at Spicewood. We stayed here for the Xterra Triathlon which was super convenient and close. A short 10 min drive away. Rachel & Ricky have done a fantastic job making this a home away from home. The place was absolutely immaculate. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook, beds were super comfy and bathrooms had full size toiletries. It would have been nice to also have body lotion provided but certainly not a negative at all. Every bedroom had access to its own bath but the primary shower was THE BEST. The rain shower was amazing and the soft water system made our skin just silky soft. The backyard oasis was just beautiful. The kids had a great time using the small wading pool while the adults gathered around the bonfire. Rachel and Ricky provided full size sunscreen and bug spray which was so nice! It was a little bit of a bummer that the river behind the property was so low (no water) but very pretty nonetheless. We definitely would stay here again!

Beautiful Views, Modern and Comfortable Home

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful modern home for a lake trip and it exceeded all our expectations! This property was a perfect choice for our two families, providing an unforgettable vacation experience that we will cherish for years to come. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the design of the home. The large windows offered picturesque views, creating a serene ambiance that instantly put us in relaxation mode. The four bedroom, four bathroom setup ensured that everyone had their own privacy and the kids were thrilled to have their own space to hang out and play. The kitchen was a highlight as it was equipped with state-of-the-art appliances and had ample counter space, making meal preparation a breeze. The living area was both cozy and stylish, however I must admit most of our time was spent outdoors on the decks. With plenty of seating and a grill for barbecues, we couldn’t get enough of the breathtaking views. The owner was incredibly responsive and it truly felt like they wanted us to have the best possible experience during our stay! I cannot recommend this home enough! It was the perfect fit, offering comfort, convenience, and a remarkable view. Thank you for providing us with such an exceptional experience!
