Dirty and Hot

The apartment was dirty, the kitchen had no cleaning supplies and a gross dirty fan. The A/C did not work well and the apartment was warm and the bathroom was hot. Bathroom not updated since 1920s & the Shower didn't work properly. Not a pleasant experience, left early and did not receive any refund or communication from property manager when I contacted her about leaving early. Recommend you avoid this property.

Not the fanciest but great location in KC. Good diner adjacent to it. 10 minute bike ride to Union Station

Good location with shortcomings

Ideal location for Nelson-Atkins/Kemper museums & the Plaza. This unit seems original to construction, probably in the 1920's, with the exception of a partial update in the kitchen. The shower worked at about 25% efficiency as the tub diverter only partially diverted. Water wastefully poured out the spigot into the tub during showers. Bed was old and sunken in the middle. We both found ourselves shoved against each other. The sheets were paper thin and not completely clean. No Kleenex provided. The TV only has ROKU. If what you want to watch isn't streaming...too bad. The host was available and readily responded to any questions I had. This unit is near the bottom of rental costs in the area, so some failure of expectations should be expected, just maybe not all of this.
