Pecfect little lake house

This property is actually better than what the pictures shown. It’s fully stocked with all essentials. We love the lake view and the garden. It was perfect for our family of four. Minor feedback would be the transition between the carpet and wood floor has nail poking through that we all stepped on.

A beautiful relaxing retreat

We loved this! It was such a nice location, beautiful and relaxing. Perfect setting for a retreat. It was very clean, and equipped and stocked with what we needed like coffee and sugar. The manager was awesome and very timely at responding. Our kids loved it too. They enjoyed going down to the dock and riding on the kayaks. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the patio listening the the night sounds and breathing in the fresh air. If we didn't already have a long list of other places we were heading on our Idaho vacation for the week, we easily could have stayed for a whole week! We defintely recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful and nice place to stay. Thank you!

Fun Getaway!

The house was very clean and comfortable. It’s close to the lake but not directly on the lake. Great place for the price!

Hi! I'm Sara, and I'm so excited about being your host for this retreat! My family and I have called Hayden Lake 'home' for over 30 years. My young children look forward to our lake time every year, and we know you will love it, too.

Why they chose this property

The Shenandoah Retreat is set up to be a home away from home. A brewing station is waiting for all you coffee and tea drinkers to enjoy. Take a cup of joe out to the side porch and enjoy the sights and sounds of the lake awaking each morning.

The shared dock is a great place to go in the afternoon for a refreshing swim, or casual kayak trip to explore the northern end of the lake. Osprey, Canadian Geese and even Bald Eagles are often seen on the lake.

It really is a beautiful place to wind down and refresh from the daily hustle and bustle of daily lafe.
