Beautiful & fun location

The location is amazing with the beach under the property and the ocean just steps away. Lots of surfers and boats to watch and pretty sunrises. The house was clean and perfect for four. Property owner was very responsive and helpful.

This property was recently renovated, very comfortable for our family of four, and RIGHT on the beach. The owners were very communicative and relaxed about details. The shower was not completely clean (residue on the floor of the shower -- I wore flip flops), and there were ants (the owner warned us). Otherwise, the place was impeccably clean. It had everything we needed for simple meals and Netflix access! Would definitely come back - these hosts were fantastic.

Howdy! Residue in shower floor unfortunately is from the terrible city water at the moment, we advise in not drinking of it to all guests and unfortunately it leaves a mess on our showers and toilets! Hopefully the city of Surfside will fix this issue soon!!!

Nice little house right on the beach

We love this house and have stayed multiple times. It's perfect for a small family. It's right on the beach and steps from the water. This does mean during the busy times of the week/year there is a lot of foot traffic under the house, which isn't horrible. We never had to really set up anything on the beach, we would run down enjoy the beach/gulf and then go back to the house. This works for us as a small family with young children who really only want to down to the beach in about 30 minute intervals. The house was clean and nicely equipped. We will stay again for sure!

Not a great stay

I have been staying in beach houses on Surfside beach for many years. This year we had all our tents/chairs stolen overnight. Also, no working toilet for 3 of our 7 days there. It just wasn't very good this year.

On top of your comments- please be honest and tell the community that the ONLY reason the plumbing was not in order is due to the city. It was 100% a city issue not an issue of our home. We communicated and had the system pumped daily by city to assist you as best we could and also offered to refund your stay. As well, you took our towels home with you essentially stood them, you brought dogs to our home which is explicitly against our rules, our beach chairs were stolen under your stay as well and you refuse to pay for our loss or for your dogs being in our home and our subsequent additional cleaning because of your stay. We have lost $, personal property taken from us and failure to comply with our house rules is complete disregard. We would never host you in the future and we recommend no one else does either. While we are sorry that the city plumbing was not in order during the course of your stay that is outside of my control and we did what we could to offer a solution. Apart from this- terrible guest, we do not recommend this guest to other hosts our property has been removed from our home the chairs were stolen under their stay, and they brought more than one dog for the entire duration of their stay, and they refused to pay anything for these Rules being broken or subsequent cleaning fees we have incurred. Interesting how you refuse to respond to multiple attempts for payment owed to us but quick to respond to a very honest review of you as a guest.

Great House

Pros: you cannot get more beachfront than this! Cute, perfect for two adults and two teens! Adorable remodeled home with window units in each room. Location is great, no cars allowed on the beach. Everything we needed to make meals at the house. A small plumbing issue, but the owner was so quick to respond!! Best customer service for sure. Con: you are THE house that everyone parks by and walks under and in front of. Because it provides shade, people camp right up to it and underneath. They also used the trash can and blocked the driveway, but we were in for the night, so we didn’t make an issue of it. During the week, it wasn’t nearly as busy, and it wasn’t so much an issue. But the weekend days, be prepared. Overall, will rent here again!!
