this was our second year in the house. It is terrific. Right on the path for the Eagle River. Greatly enjoyed sitting on the deck reading a book, listening to the river. House is very well appointed, particularly in the kitchen. Plenty of pots, serving dishes, etc.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! We are so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with Vacation Rental Collective, and that you enjoyed the river so much. :) It was a pleasure to host you and we hope you come stay with us again soon!
Everything was fantastic! A little tricky finding it at first due to Google Maps. But everyone was impressed with the condo! We would definitely stay again!
Comfortable accommodations for two couples. The office was an added bonus for getting in a couple of hours a work per day. Quick reply from management when we had questions. Easy access to Beaver Creek and Vail.

Hi Brent,
Thank you for the great review. Our team takes great pride and making sure our guests have a wonderful vacation when staying with us I look forward to your return.

Incredibly well equipped kitchen. House feels like it knows a lot of family love. Great bathrooms. We hosted dinner for nine most nights and the table easily accommodated us One downside- the bedroom with the trundle bed is off of living room.terrific location. Right on river and walk to Avon.
Apartment was fine save that the option to convert third bedroom from two twins wasn’t self evident- but management did a great job helping us figure it out. The other problem was location with regard to ski bus. It required a 10 minute walk along a busy highway to get from the apartment to the shuttle.

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review Eric. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay and that we will able to address your concerns right away to find resolution. We apologize the walk is longer than desired but rest assured it is still a convenient location. Hope to have you back again :)
Rented this condo for a recent ski vacation and was thoroughly happy with the choice. Property was very clean and plenty of room for two adult couples. The location is within walking distance to the Beaver Creek parking lot where you can jump the shuttle to the main village or simply drive up, which took 3 or 4 minutes. You're also very close to the center of Avon, which is a 3 minute drive away. The condo was well appointed and has everything you need if you would like to cook meals in. Would definitely rent again.

Reviewer Comments:
Loved this three bedroom. Great well equipped kitchen and easy to use TV. Steam shower a treat.really comfortable nice beds. Well kept place. During the summer, I imagine it’s no problem at all, but during the winter, the best way to get up to the mountain is to just drive your car across the street and pay $13 to park in the Bear lot. Although we did walk once from the unit to the Bear lot it was very snowy and slushy and I couldn’t even tell if there was a sidewalk because they don’t really plow on that main road there for the sidewalks. But it was doable to walk but probably more convenient just to drive over and pay. Bus system to the top very very easy.

Thank you for staying with us, and for completing a review! We were happy to host you and your family and are glad you had an enjoyable time. We look forward to having you stay with Durango Vacation Rental Collective again in the future!
Nice appliances in the kitchen. Good furnishings, however, the heat was on. When we arrived and it was 82° even though the thermostat was off. We had to get a maintenance man out to turn it off. He did bring us two box fans but it didn't take down the heat every day we were there. It was still 80. Unclean areas included. Master bathroom shower has mold on the ceiling. The toilet needed to be flushed. Shower upstairs bathroom plug for the shower had to be out for it to drain
and the ceiling fan in that bedroom upstairs. Wasn't working so the maintenance man fixed it. The other bathroom downstairs had spider webs behind the door and black hairs in the tub.this was our first trip to Vail and probably the last.
My wife and I and our two adult children + one significant other stayed six nights in this condo in January. It was in a good location in a nice development that sits on the outskirts of Avon and right on the Eagle River. The condo is very comfortable with nice furniture. We would give it an unqualified endorsement but for the following:
1. The dishwasher did not work
2. The ice machine in the refrigerator produced about 10 cubes of ice daily
3. The starter button for the gas grill did not work
4. The access code to the fitness center was not provided at the time of check-in
5. The operation of the televisions was complicated and took some time to figure out. Instructions would be helpful
To his credit, the property manager Brian was responsive. He had ice brought over and offered to have a repairman come look at the dishwasher, which I declined because we hadn't planned to cook any more meals and I was working in the condo while my family was skiing.
Anyone renting a high-end condo at significant cost (upwards of $5,000) has a right to expect, at a minimum, that all utilities are in good working condition. We should not have to be bothered with issues such as this and it detracted from the enjoyment of our vacation. Washing dishes by hand was not part of our plan. We would not return to this property absent assurances that all of these items have been fixed and that the owner is committed to maintaining the property at a level to which the renters are entitled.

Hi David,
We appreciate your review for our beautiful home. We are extremely apologetic and have addressed every concern of yours.
Directly following your stay the entire dishwasher was replaced and upgraded. For sanitary reasons, the ice bins are dumped between every guest but we have ensured it is in good working order once it was brought to our attention. We have also input the codes to the workout room in the directions to the property. The TV in our Brookside unit is a smart tv with standard Xfinity cable if you could provide further details regarding what you found so difficult we will be able to provide additional directions for future guests. Again, thank you for the review, information is always helpful to ensure the happiness of our guests.
