Good value apartment but frustrating check-in

The apartment is good value for money but it has many little things that aren't great. A bright light shines into the large bedroom, although there are blinds to block it partially. It didn't really affect my sleep but if you need darkness, you won't have it. Check-in was frustrating. The front door was locked but no instructions were given about any keys. Eventually figured it out but after a long drive it was not ideal to have to get WiFi, talk with a neighbour, etc. to get the information we needed to get in. Quality of the apartment is good enough and it's clean. Location was great for our night out at Spot Lite. Host was very responsive and easy to contact.

Owner needs to spend a night here

There’s several kinks that need to be worked out in this remodel. The breaker box kept tripping breakers and the box isn’t properly labeled. There’s no place to put shampoo and soap in the shower. The kitchen could us baking pans. There are only cookie sheets. There’s a bright light that shines in the master from outside. There needs to be a blackout curtain. We had to wear eye masks. Housekeepers didn’t finish the job, leaving us with no clean towels and no sheets on the bed. The sheets and towels we were directed to had never been washed. They were brand new. Alejandro was very responsive to these issues but it still makes for an irritating stay. The neighborhood is close to downtown but it is very sketchy and we were a little wary of being safe. I’ll research better next time. But…the price was right.
