Many upgrades and a few misleading
Overall the house was great location and the inside furniture and fixtures were nicely upgraded. The hot tub was not working which was disappointing. House was in a very quiet neighborhood.

Good for sleeping, not much else
The majority of the home was clean and welcoming. A few issues that were deal breakers and would cause us not to stay again: lack of heat in the pool. - this is probably the biggest issue, especially with the hot tub being broken. I realize there is a cost associated with installing a heating system in the pool but a simple solar cover would've at least added a few degrees of heat for a couple hundred bucks. It was incredibly disappointing and quite frankly made the whole experience bad. It's a small investment that would've changed my whole review. The other issues we had besides the broken hot tub was the lack of cookware- house sleeps 8+ but the 2 pans provided only cooked for 2, and the ridiculous charcoal grill that was left as the other cooking option. At a place that cost us upwards of $ 600 a night, a $ 300 gas grill or a couple of larger pans shouldn't be too much to ask for. Other weird things that I've never experienced in my 15+ stays at VRBOs was the complete absence of any spices, cooking oils, or even aluminum foil or storage bags. The home felt like no one had been in it in a long time and it was strangely empty of everything. Even the 4 total rolls of toilet paper left and the 2 rolls of paper towels seemed petty and cheap. I don't plan on buying TP, paper towels, trash bags, and foil when on vacation and it made the place cheap.

Make sure to confirm code and lockbox key code
The house was beautiful! Beds were comfortable, there was plenty of space! We just had a few issues: -the code we were given for the door did not work. We got 3 different codes and none of them worked. -the lockbox code we were originally given was the wrong code and so management had to find the right code. We had to just use the physical keys for our stay. We never go the actual code to work. -The kitchen was minimal in stock. There was very little equipment to actually cook with which is one of the lures of staying in a house rather than a hotel. -If you have little kids, I would advise to not stay here. There was only glass dining wear (plates, bowls, cups, etc). There was no travel crib (which was our fault for not checking, we just assumed there would be because there usually is). Luckily we brought one for the baby, so we made it work. -the hot tub was also not working and only 1/4 full for our stay. Other than that we had a wonderful stay, if we went back with just adults, it’s worth it for the price!

Nice house, Hot Tub was unusable and check-in issues
The house itself was in a great location, very clean, and had nice amenities for the whole family. There were 2 issues to keep from a 5/5. First, The check-in process was a disaster: There is no keypad on the front door to enter the house like most modern VRBOs. This was a surprise as all we were sent was a 10 digit code with no other check in instructions. We searched around the house and finally found 2 lockboxes around the corner. However, the code that was sent did not work on either lock box (neither would even work with a 10 digit code?). This was all at 2am due to a late flight. Luckily a 24 hr help line got us the correct code as well as letting us know what lock box to try. This all took about 20 mins to resolve. Not a huge delay, but after traveling and in the middle of the night a smooth check-in process like most VRBOs would have been appreciated Second, the hot tub was very dirty with leaves and had a yellow color. So it was unusable. We sent a picture to the property manager and they agreed it didn't look good. However no resolution was offered and no one came by to clean it even though the help line said they would. I hate not giving a 5/5 but these are the issues we faced.
