The space
The house is a two story house located in a rural area, with some wild life.
Upstairs has the two bedrooms and one bathroom with full bath.
The downstairs has the kitchen, living/dining area and a smaller bathroom with shower. There is a screened patio with patio furniture.
Radiators are used for heating. Lower level radiators are thermostat controlled. Upper level radiators are independently controlled.
Water comes from a well on the property. It is filtered and UV treated. It is drinkable, however, a separate bottled water cooler is provided for drinking and cooking in the kitchen.
The local utility, PG&E during wildfire season, shuts off power sometimes with minimal notice to reduce fire risk. These shutoffs can last several hours.
