Great place to stay. Had plenty of room for everyone. Plenty of spacious room. Our family loved everything. Porch was so much fun and the plenty of views on the lake. Loved the deer and the wildlife. Kids loved the canoes and fishing. We would go back again and again. Host was so gracious about telling us about all kinds of information. There was a close grocery store and a Walmart. Saved us so much when we needed anything. Some of our people even hiked and went golfing.
This was a great house for our annual ski trip. We appreciated the various bedrooms allowing everyone to have privacy. Our group was 15 people (mostly couples with three singles) and the sleeping situation was perfect.Views of the lake were beautiful.
Home was beautiful and roomy. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we forgot. Neighborhood was lovely. We enjoyed one of the fireplaces on the rainy day and night. Easy to get to town for necessities.
This is a great home for a large gathering. We loved the location and the beds were all very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Enough space for adults to visit and teens to play.
Beautiful location. Very nice property. Seemed the owner/owner's local representatives were not paying sufficient attention to some details. One air conditioner was not functioning, had to purchase our own toilet paper, cabinet hinge broken, propane tanks empty. Beautiful lake, but the cost to do fishing is onerous. 26/day for adult permit PLUS current Colorado fishing license. Such costs are way out of reason. Kayaks were great. Underbed areas were unkept - pills, socks, etc. The property use exceeds the garbage handling capability. Both garbage cans were full when we arrived and had to just stack full garbage sacks on the floor of the garage. We ran out of garbage can liners in the kitchen. Greater attention to details was expected for such a premium property.
We loved our stay here. This home is huge, pictures don’t even do it justice. Our large family of all ages fit comfortably. The wood burning fireplaces throughout the home made it feel super cozy. The lake views are stunning through the large windows as you cozy up on the couch. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved this home! Awesome to have two dishwashers, 2 large refrigerators, 4 washers n 4 dryers. The kids loved the canoes and dock. What a plus to have fishing poles and life jackets. The pool table was also a hit!! We loved the views from the back deck and the convenience to get places.
Great place for a family reunion!!! Kitchen was amazing and great for cooking for a large group. Most of the bedrooms had private bathrooms, so lots of privacy. We loved the private boat dock and spent lots of time on the lake with kayaks, paddleboards and fishing. I highly recommend this place.
This house was absolutely perfect for our annual family ski trip. Everyone had a bed, two sets of washer/dryer, huge kitchen with double appliances and fully stocked with dishes and essentials. It was clean and we had zero issues while we were there. We will be back next year!

The Place to Go for Family Gatherings
Casa Laguna is in a great location on a beautiful lake. Lovely kitchen fully equipped and themed bedrooms. Super deck with super view. Wildlife abounds - Osprey, blue heron, eagles, fox and more.
This is place is the place to go to for a quiet larger family getaway where every person has there own space and the shared space is conducive to visiting.
Oh, and by the way, Pagosa Springs is a fun town with lots to do! Highly recommend Casa Laguna and Derald is easy to work with and maintains a great property.
Spacious Home with Great Views, But Some Safety IssuesThe house was perfect in size for our large family, and we especially loved the huge deck overlooking the lake. The layout worked well for multiple families, and the host was kind enough to allow a late checkout. However, we encountered several safety issues: an outlet sparked with flames when plugging in a portable A/C for an upstairs room, one oven door was broken and fell open and injured my hand, a refrigerator wouldn’t stay closed, and the top of the spiral staircase was held together with duct tape. Smoke detectors chirped for two nights, and we had to assist the property manager in replacing them after she suggested disabling the system entirely. It’s a beautiful property, but poor maintenance and management made it unsafe—especially for families with young children. Would not recommend until these issues are addressed. Once these are addressed, I would recommend every time!

All safety issues have been addressed and taken care of. Thank you
Nice quiet getaway in a residential neighborhood, not a party house.
This beautiful home is in a residential community so you are not allowed to be loud, play music out on the deck, have kids that may run around playing and being rowdy. One particular neighbor across the lake was very nosey, called and complained and had the authorities come by the first night at 7pm because the stereo was supposedly too loud. Also, there is NO swimming in the lake, which it does not state on the description before booking. Also FYI the pool, is at the recreation center down the road, not on the property. The doors don't lock very well, the porch lighting only stays on for about 3min. Then it's pitch black.. so have flash lights if you happen to need something from your vehicle at night. Other than these issues, the house was spacious, had everything from pots, pans, dishes, 2 kitchens, towels, washers, dryers, bedding, etc. One of the main refrigerators wasn't working, my husband had to reset it. The ovens and stoves didn't work adequately but did the job(We had to wait a good 30-45 min longer for meals to cook). Overall it's perfect for quiet, relaxing stays.. no music out on the deck or large parties (groups) as you will be loud no matter what you do.

The neighbor didn't appreciate the taste in the music played. She said it was the N-word and F-bombs every other word. I told the guests that I have central air so with the windows and doors shut they could listen to whatever they wanted at their desired volume, but they wanted to share their music with the neighborhood. As you can see from the numerous reviews on this site that this group was a bit out of the norm.
We absolutely loved this property, it was perfect for our family and we made memories that will last a lifetime!Thank you for going above and beyond in accommodating some of our families special requests! We highly recommend this beautiful lakeside cabin. Pagosa Springs is a great vacation destination!
The Ada bathroom and ramp to get it in to the house was essential as one of our family members was in a wheelchair. This was accurately described and we found that it worked well. It would have been nice if there wasn't as much carpet as it was hard to ride around in a wheelchair on the carpet. The kitchen was well stocked and the Casita was quite the bonus! We enjoyed the view and our peaceful mornings on the porch overlooking the lake.
