We appreciate your feedback and understand your concerns regarding the maintenance issues you encountered during your stay. When you have a property situated right in front of the ocean, the high humidity and salt in the environment can indeed accelerate corrosion, affecting various electrical equipment. As a result, we regularly replace items such as air conditioners, fridges, microwaves, and other vulnerable components on a yearly basis to ensure the comfort and functionality of the property for our guests. We apologize for any inconvenience these issues may have caused during your stay and assure you that we are continuously working to address and improve upon these maintenance challenges to enhance the overall experience for our guests. Thank you for bringing these matters to our attention, and we hope you were still able to enjoy your time despite the setbacks. We also want to clarify that while the air conditioning units in all seven rooms are consistently maintained and kept in working condition, the decision not to repair the unit in the indoor living area was intentional. Due to the frequent opening of doors and the resultant constant air exchange, maintaining a consistent temperature in that area became challenging. Additionally, our observation indicates that guests typically spend the majority of their time in the expansive palapa area by the pool, where they have access to a six-burner cooktop, a charcoal BBQ, and a refrigerator. This space is designed to provide a comfortable and enjoyable environment for gatherings and activities, hence we prioritize ensuring its amenities are fully functional. We apologize if this arrangement caused any inconvenience during your stay and appreciate your understanding.
