We really enjoyed our time at this house. It is spacious and comfortable, very clean, and located in a very nice and safe neighborhood. It has a fully equipped kitchen, we found everything we needed. The host was readily available by phone and the communication with the host was excellent. Highly recommended all around.

This was the perfect place for our group to stay while we enjoyed the Half Century of Progress show in Rantoul- plenty of room for everyone and close to restaurants/shopping. Would stay here again!

This was the perfect spot for family to gather as we celebrated my mom's life. Plenty of room for sharing Fillipos pizza and memories. House was equipped with everything we needed. Our little ones loved the basement space (and some of our big ones!)Great place!

Perfect for family gathering

House is very clean and located walking distance to downtown Monticello. Kitchen was well equipped. The fireflies were spectacular! Karen was prompt in her responses. Would definitely stay in her place again.

Family New Years!

We had 4 families with 6 kids under 9 meet for the New Year and there was plenty of room for all of us. The large dining area had big tables great for serving and playing games. Our only burden was the grill, it is very weathered and unusable. Minor issues but nothing worth reviewing… Overall, we had a great time!

Christmas 2023

We all had sooo much fun. We were all so comfortable with your property. It was just far enough from town and close enough at the same time. Like I mentioned before, an “adult” bed in the basement would be over the top. HOWEVER, with that being said my family would like to celebrate our Christmas at you property again next year. Farm Progress Stay

We had 7 volunteers help with exhibits during Farm Progress 2023. We were short on adult bed space. 3 slept on hide-a-beds that were very uncomfortable and all in the same living space. The house would work for a small family of 4-5 people. didn't work so well for 7 men. We got through it and I am grateful we had a place to sleep and shower.

Unique Monticello

This house was amazing. Our adult kids and family from TN stayed here. The host provided some water bottles in fridge, snacks and coffee as well as many extra amenities. The house was spotless and had fun areas in the basement for kids of all ages and sexes. Much larger than it appears in photos. The living room couches were super comfy and having the use of the garage was a definite plus. Karen was awesome to work with. Only thing to be aware if mobility issues are steps into house, from garage into house and of course the basement.

Christmas get together

I feel like I overpaid for a few reasons There are only 3 bedrooms. Everything else is a couch or a bunk bed kind of misleading that it says it sleeps 17. Floors were dirty our socks still show the stain. There was no jacuzz as stated The grill on the back deck was too rusty to use.
