Adequate and in good location

Adequate property in good location for all St Louis attractions. It’s a moderately updated house that is suitable for housing a family or small group that is into a safe and comfortable spot to hang their hat at night and run around town all day. Will consider staying there for future visits to the area.

Amazing Stay

This house was amazing. It was very well equipped and in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood convenient to many attractions. The TV and game room in the basement were a plus. Great hosts!!

GREAT FAMILY FRIENDLY STAY

Very nice home, close to many attractions. Safe neighborhood. Easy host to work with. Our host checked with us Multiple times to make sure that we had a favorable stay. Lots of room for the family to spread out and do their own thing. definitely will use this host again on our next stay in St. Louis.

Cute House

We enjoyed our stay here. We were close to all attractions we wanted to see. The house accommodated all four of us just fine with all of us having our own space at the end of the day. The hosts were very responsive to anything we had to communicate. We will stay here again if ever in the St. Louis area.

Great place but needs some work

Our stay had some mixed feelings. We saw the reviews and the pictures and really thought it was a great find. I’m going to list our pros and cons while we stayed. Pros: the location was excellent for us. Very quiet neighborhood, easy to get to places and felt safe. The beds were really comfortable and enjoyed the overall style of the house. The kitchen had enough cookware and dinnerware to cook and feed us. The host was very polite in our communications and helped accommodate a need we had albeit a little late but the gesture was appreciated. Cons: our biggest complaint we had was the upstairs which had 2/4 beds was extremely hot! It was almost 90F up there when we arrived despite the aircon running. When I contacted the host about it, he did order us another fan to use however it arrived on our last night there and there was no communication that it was there for us to use. Our second biggest complaint was half of the bedding and liens were still wet in the wash. We had to flip it our selves. There was trash stuffed in the couches downstairs. The remote to the tv was missing, broken stools to sit on, broken sink plunger and a broken ac unit in the workout room. Seating in the living room was sparse and for 6 people staying was a problem. The couch is different than in the pictures and not comfortable. Overall, I felt like it is a good place but it needs some work to be listed as a 9.2/10.

Wonderful place and hosts

We absolutely loved the house!! The location was close to everything and the kids LOVED the game room! The hosts were super helpful and always responded quickly!! We are already talking about booking with them in November!! Definitely recommend!!!!!

Long weekend in STL

House was as listed. We were able to park in the garage which was a plus. Neighborhood felt safe. Kitchen was clean and well stocked with dishes and utensils.

Spring Break/Wedding Getaway

We had family getting married in St. Louis that lined up with Spring Break, so we made a vacation out of it and stayed in town for a week. This property was PERFECT for us! With two teens we wanted everyone to have separate sleeping areas. The basement set-up was great entertainment, the boys loved playing pool. There were lots of board games that kept us entertained in the evenings (we had a 3 day long game of monopoly). Most importantly, we felt safe. My husband wasn’t able to join us until the weekend, so being in a safe neighborhood and in a secure home gave me peace of mind. The neighborhood had great restaurants and grocery options, and the city was within minutes. I appreciated the hime gym equipment to get a daily morning workout in while the kids slept in. This home fit our needs perfectly!

Spring Break

We chose this property to because of the game room in the basement. We had 3 children with us. The dart board had no darts and the pool table had something gross spilled all over it. The couch upstairs had stains all over it. There was also dog hair in the corners of the dining room as well as all over the rug in the master bedroom. There was no working remote for the TV in the master bedroom either.

St. Louie wkd

We loved our stay here, the pictures don’t do it Justice. The downstairs game room was great to have, gave us entertainment. The location was perfect and close to a lot of stuff to do. We took our pup with us and they even had a crate there already for her to stay in. The neighborhood is quiet. The beds were comfy. Backyard was cute and fenced in. I definitely would recommend staying here! The host are really nice and respond quickly if you need anything.

Nice place for rest and relaxation

My daughter and I went with a few friends we work with in the haunt industry. Nice easy drive to downtown the house was big enough for 5 adults. Would definitely stay again. Had some difficulty getting in when we first got there but the host help us and with in no time we were in. Thanks for the help and differently enjoyed our stay.

Great neighborhood

We really loved the old feel of this home. It has some really cool features to it. There are some great places to eat or grab a drink that are within walking distances. Very close to downtown

New Year Getaway

We had a relaxing time. I was amazed how this house was, and the basement had a bar, and games for us to enjoy. I will definitely book again. The owners was very nice and answered any questions that I had in a timely manner. It was never a problem with communication.

Cute Place

The house was nice and spacious for our group. It was nice that everyone had their own room and space to hang out. Hosts were in communication through the length of our stay and made check-in go smoothly. The location was convenient and easy to get a ride into downtown attractions. We had a good trip and would definitely recommend the place.

Awesome little house

The pictures of vrbo don't do it justice. When inside we felt like we were miles from anyone as it was quiet even though there were neighbors. The kitchen had everything we needed, so did the bathroom. Definitely would go back again when I'm more physically able to do things without a walker. I gave the place 5 stars cause to me it is worth it but on a side note there are lots of stairs so just keep that in mind if ADA needed.

Comfortable, spacious, fun, and excellent host communication

Pros: The host was very quick to respond to questions. He was very friendly as well. The check in and out process was easy, no hassles or hoops to jump through. The house easily had more than enough room for our family of 6. Our four kids had fun with the darts, ping pong, and pool table. The updated appliances made meal making and cleanup a non-issue. Cons: The listing showed pictures of a Pac-Man arcade, but that wasn’t present. The listing also mentioned a jacuzzi tub, but the house didn’t have one. The yard was small and a little overgrown but we were still able to make a fire and cook hotdogs and hobo pies. It was fun. Overall it was a great experience. My kids loved it. Travel time to city attractions was very reasonable and there is an Aldi right up the street, which was very convenient. Nothing really within walking distance that we saw though. We would stay again!
