Welcome to beautiful Norris Lake! This great little cottage is floating on the lake right outside of Whitman Hollow Marina.

The perfect family getaway! We offer 2 bedrooms and one full bath, with sleeping up to 7. Enjoy the slide off the dock, shoot hoops while floating out front or hop on the paddle board. Needing to relax at the end of the day? Grab a board game or deck of cards from our selection.

Must have a boat to access! No boat? No problem! Whitman Hollow offers boat rentals so you’ll just want to call them in advance to reserve one if needed. You can park at the marina for free. If you have a boat the launch ramp is right around the corner from the marina and is also free.

Perfect for a small family

The space was plenty for our family of 5. The kids loved the slide and the paddle board was enjoyable. The beds were comfy and the ac window units kept it cool. The only thing i wish it had was ice trays. Loved our stay and will definitely be back

Another Day in Paradise

Very convenient. The courtesy dock was easy to ramp load and unload. Froggies was fun with good food. Easy access to the lake, and very close to Norris Dam marina.

It’s a nice place with tons of outdoor space and lots of water toys to use. along the shore, which was great for swimming and staying out of boat traffic. There are 2 bedrooms, one has a window AC unit and keeps the room nice and cold, however the 2nd bedroom has nothing but a ceiling fan to cool it. If the door was closed to that bedroom it got very hot at night. Other than that it’s a great place to stay and the owner is very accommodating! We enjoyed our stay.

Floating House

New experience for us so we tried a short 4 night stay. We really could not feel the house moving. It is great having your boat so handy & that spoiled us. We had 3 adults. 4 adults would be comfortable. It was a great fishing getaway. Will probably do a floating house again in the future

Good, could use some tlc

Great location. Easy to find. Loved the privacy of the back dock for swimming and paddleboard. Loved grilling dinner on the back dock. Owner is very friendly and very good with communication. Whitman hollow marina is a great atmosphere and very accommodating (first time visiting) the only negative i have to say is the house could use a good deep cleaning, not terrible just needs TLC and maybe an updated slide on the dock. Overall we had a great time!

Everything was as stated. Movie selection was good since the Wi-Fi was not great. The only glitch was the grill. It wouldn’t start and we couldn’t find a lighter and had to hunt one down. Other than that great time!

Another Day

The booking process was super easy on Vrbo. Property setting was in a good location. A couple things to consider. Please have a variety of coffee or just regular coffee available for guest. The screen door kept coming off. Needs an exhaust fan in RR or window to open. Curtain rods kept falling out. Curtains in MA bedroom. Overall we definitely enjoyed our stay!! Weather was great!!
