Surf Song #116 - This cozy ground floor Studio efficiency is directly facing the beach and offers every amenity for a one of a kind Florida vacation. Perfect for a couple or family with one child, this studio includes breathtaking views of the tranquil heated swimming pool and of course, some of Florida's most beautiful beaches - all just steps away from the front door. BBQ facilities, parking and laundry are also just a short walk away. Free Wifi. There is no phone in this unit. You will be required to sign a rental agreement with SunHost Resorts prior to a reservation being confirmed.

At 116, guests will find a full kitchen complete with everything needed for your stay. Sleeping arrangements include a large king bed and a sofabed all recently updated with new furnishings. Linen for all beds, extra pillows and sufficient towels for your stay are always provided.

When staying in a SunHost unit you will also have access to 7 day a week office staff, office services (copy, print boarding passes etc.) We also have maintenance available 7 days a week if you experience any issues at the property and an after hours emergency on call person.

Surf Song 116 is located just across the street from the famous John's Pass Village & Boardwalk. The Pass is a quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village and Pinellas County's #1 tourist attraction. The Village has over one hundred unique shops, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing. Best of all as a SunHost customer you can walk to this great entertainment destination. Anchor tenants include Bubba Gumps, Hooters and Hubbards Marina and also world famous Bamboo Beer Garden. You can access the Pass via the beach by traversing under John's Pass Bridge or any of a number of safety crosswalks.

Madeira Beach is a sought after community, just west of St. Petersburg. Its 2.5 mile beach is popular with sun lovers and offers some of the best fishing in the area. This beautiful Gulf getaway, has something for everyone, including, water sports along some of the most beautiful crystal clear waters in the world.

Nearest airports are Tampa International Airport at just over 20 miles and St. Petersburg Clearwater International at 10 miles away.

Reviewer Comments: Obviously they were still working on all the 1st floor units at this resort, and we were the first to stay in this room after renovations. Room was beautiful and everything was new. It was great! A few things the room still needed and maybe they were still going to add things: a hairdryer, shelves in the shower and a full length mirror in the living area for getting ready would be great additions to the room. Overall, it was a great stay with a beautiful room and a great location for everything you would need.

I met someone who less staying next door and they said they can hear everything but we didn’t hear our neighbors. We met several new people as well as those from our previous visit. Property is very nice and clean. Employees are very friendly. I love the quick walk to the beach and John’s Pass. Pool area is beautiful. We like that we can fly in, not rent a car and walk everywhere. Thank you for having us

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: Beautiful property grounds, nice swimming pool, access to the beach directly behind this unit (116). The unit was very clean. Cons: This unit only has 1 door which faces the parking lot area. You can see the pool and beach from a large window so you can't walk right out of the unit to the pool or beach (not a big deal for us but it may be for you). This unit is VERY dated like 1980's, the bathroom is closer to 60's or 70's era. It desperately needs a new stove, fridge and dishwasher (they work but are rusty). They did put new tile in the unit so thats a plus. 🙂More Pros: It is directly across from Johns Pass.We LOVED the location and the common areas of this quaint little resort. We might stay in this unit again...might not depending on availability of other units here (others have been updated). We would stay at this resort again. Nice staff, friendly guy cleaning the pool each morning.

Reviewer Comments: Kinda hot and cold , I was accused of letting my several children running amuck causing sever residents to complain about me in my unit 116. After office leaving a rude voice mail accusing me of letting my kids in the pool at 5 am and letting them run the complex causing several residents to accuse me of violations. YOU FINALLY SAW THE VIDEO SHOWING THE KIDS CAME FROM THE BEACH AND WERE NOT STAYING IN THE COMPLEX BUT JUST CAUSING TROUBLE , I AM 73 YEARS OLD , CAM THERE ALONE, STAYING IN A EFFICIENCY ALONE, BUT THE OFFICE FOUND IT NECESSARY TO SEND ME AN ACCUSATORY VOICE MAIL . tHE MAINTENANCE MAN SAW THE VIDEO AND KNEW IT WAS NOT COMING FROM MY CONDO #116 BUT THE TROUBLE WAS CAUSED BY STREET KIDS RANDONLY RUNNING THROUGH THE COMPLEX CAUSING A DISTURBANCE TO SEVERAL RESIDENTS. AFTER GOING TO THE OFFICE , I DID NOT RECEIVE AN APOLOGY THE WHITE HAIRED LADY IN THE OFFICE ACTED IGNORANT LIKE SHE DIDN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE VOICE MAIL SENT TO ME ACCUSING ME OF CAUSING ALL THE TROUBLE?? THE MAINTENENCE MAN SOLVED THE PROBLEM FOUND OUT WHO THE KIDS WERE AND WHERE THEY CAME FROM AND APOLOGIZED TO ME FOR THE LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM CAUSED BY THE OFFICE. SCOTT WAS A VERY PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL MAINTENANCE MAN WHO SOLVED THE PROBLEM AND IDENTIFIED THE DELIQUENT KIDS CAUSING THE PROBLEM !! He said the office owed me an apology but I never received one. So I was kinda pissed being treated by the office as a troube maker ??? The office knew I was there alone, knew I never had any kids staying with me but sent a rude voice mail anyway. Maintenance man was awesome , the office white haired lady was rude , may never come back !!

We love Surf song.Our dislikes would be the loud AC unit and the blinds at the large window over looking the pool. They did not completely close and let in a lot of light at night.Also the room has not had a deep clean in a long time. Sand and dust under all the furniture and corners and behind the toilet.

Surf Song has a great location. The toilet leaked when flushing, I first thought it was the toilet sweating, after flushing it and watching, a bit of water leaked from the back. I told the check in desk about it. Also the shower has weak water pressure. So weak it’s hard to clean the soap from your body. I would stay at Surf Song again,not room 116.

Fantastic Location!

We Spent an amazing 5 days at surf song. The location was perfect! Walking distance to everything we needed. Pool was 10 Steps away, Beach 50 Steps. So Much to do and see. #116 could use a little update but we were pretty much only in the room to shower and sleep. Highly recommended!!!!

Reviewer Comments: The room was great, a rug by the front door and bed would be great to get sand off of feet before walking in room, and then before getting in bed.Now the resort itself!!!People kept coming from next door to swimWristbands were implemented for the few days before 4th of July up to the day, people off of the beach came to swim without wristband and security guard knew it and did NOTHING.People were swimming past hours and made it hard to sleep.A couple had sex in the pool while being naked - that is disgusting with body fluids being excreted (I know that’s nothing you guys did, but maybe cameras would be a good thing by the pool, or security that’s there and not just for holidays. I kept getting prank calls from kids in another room, I had to leave my phone off of the base.ON A GOOD NOTE:The staff was very friendly in the officeI’ve been coming for 5 years and will continue to come but thought those things should not go unnoticed.
