About this property
Cottage on Greene Street in Olde Town Augusta - walk to downtown
Whether you are looking to “Tee Off”, wander around the hometown of “The Hardest Working Man in Show Business”, stroll around downtown, visit with family and friends or get stung by the Green Jackets, this Cozy Cottage has all the bases covered!
From the street, it looks small and unassuming, but step inside and you'll be surprised by all it has to offer. The living room is cozy yet spacious, with hardwood floors, plenty of natural light, built-ins, and a decorative fireplace and tons of “Southern Charm”.
There are 3 bedrooms and two full bathrooms with a master suite at the back of the home. There is a sitting room in the front of the house that oozes Southern Hospitality and a paneled room at the back door, which is perfect for a watching a game or just hanging out at the end of the day. The kitchen is a good size with some stainless-steel appliances, pantry, and access to a side entrance. There is also laundry room with full-sized washer and dryer for added convenience.
Step outside and you'll find a fenced back yard with a covered patio and a firepit. Parking is not an issue with a shared driveway that leads to a parking pad and on-street parking is allowed in this area.
Built in 1908, The Cottage on Greene Street has been updated to incorporate many modern conveniences while still maintaining its historic character.

About the host
Hosted by Teresa C Smith

I was born in a small town just outside of Augusta but have spent almost all of my life in the Augusta area. The area is just big enough to be a city, but small enough to connect and enjoy the quality things in life.
Why they chose this property
My mother loved magnolia trees. This neighborhood reminds me of my childhood and the era of what Southern living is about yet it is close enough to downtown and other amenities that allows visitors to enjoy all that Augusta has to offer.
What makes this property unique
The Cottage on Greene Street has hardwood floors and other aspects from the era that the house was built but with upgrades that offer modern comforts. Its quite, comfortable and much larger than it looks from the street view.
