Good location / experience

We had a great time staying in this property for the 8 days that we were in Clearwater. The house was ideal for 6 of us whilst visiting family, rooms were all ideal, nice living room, and the outdoor, pool area was great to sit out and relax in at the end of a long day. The house had everything we needed, including a BBQ which we used one night and was ideal! Only recommendation is to possibly update some of the decor in the rooms, modernising the house would benefit it long term. Overall we encountered a good experience at this property and would recommend anyone who is looking for somewhere to stay whilst visiting the area.

Nice view, house in disrepair,needs work

There is a pretty little lake behind the house so it makes for a great view. This property is in very poor condition. The house looks nice when you drive up,but once inside it screams HELP. Run down, poorly decorated, poorly equipped. Pool was dirty, mismash of dishes,cooking pans and utensils. Old blinds falling apart, no lamps in main living area.We had to call and ask them for towels and wash cloths.(They did bring them that day.) No garage access which would have made unloading easier and getting my wheelchair bound mother in the house. Toilet in the master sprung a big leak and it took 24 hrs before we could get anyone to help. So one toilet for 6 people for 24 hrs . No guest book or instructions on how to use the TV's. No efforts on the host part to make this house comfortable or pleasant. This house could be great with a little effort. But it was lacking in almost every way.

Lack of communication

From the beginning of the trip we had issues. Key pad to get in did not work. Property manager knew it had issues but did not verify that it was fixed so we had to wait until someone came to let us in. They actually had to break in to house to let us in. Next morning major maintenance on pool started at 830 with out us knowing. Neighbor came and knocked on door and looked through the house for a package that was supposed to be there. City official knocked on door saying that they were not in compliance with city’s regulations to rent the house out. He gave me the citation to leave in the house for property manager. Not a pleasant experience for us.
