The owners of this property thought of every detail. We felt right at home. Comfortable beds. Nice views of the lake and very walkable to downtown, which has some cute stores, yummy coffee shop and great restaurants. We would highly recommend this stay if you are in the Waconia area.

Fantastic Stay in Waconia

Our family of 6 very much enjoyed our stay here, it’s one of those properties where they have literally thought of everything you might need and is well stocked. We played games, watched movies, could walk to downtown and the local beach was 5 mins away. Owners are super nice and easy to contact, even personally called me to check during our stay which was a nice touch. Kids had a blast, and we made meals, house was very clean and comfortable, appreciated the amenities and attention to detail. We would definitely stay here again, thanks!

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating friends. The house is beautiful and Gail and Andy respond quickly. They have everything in the house you could possibly need or want. Highly recommend this home and we hope to return!

Christmas in July

This property was fantastic! It had everything that guests would need and MORE. The home has been renovated to a beautiful-fun vibe. Very clean and well appointed. So many fun things from children’s books/other books, records,foosball table, Large TV’s, Artroom…too many to name all the extras. Highly recommend- close to downtown, parks, not far from Waconia beach. Waconia is a lovely town and the owners were very attentive and helpful.

Great Place with all the trimmings.

Good location and the place was spotless. Everything including that one could ask for in coffee supplies, cooking needs and beyond. All the appliances were top notch and even soft water.

Amazing Location and Comfort

This place was amazing, short and simple. My family loved how easy it was to get comfortable in this house. Views of Lake Waconia were great from the main floor and the basement. There is a reason this place is rated so highly. I will be seeking this place out in future visits.

Amazing hosts!!

I booked this property for one night for a friend’s bachelorette party and I have only good things to say! The communication was very clear and considerate leading up to the stay. When we arrived, the property was very clean and well stocked, especially the kitchen! We loved it and would definitely recommend!

Annual Book Club weekend get-away

This is a beautiful home and the hosts have provided everything a person could possibly need. The site is lovely, great local places to eat and shop. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying lake views. We were even treated to an evening display of distant thunder and lightning viewed from the deck

Friends weekend in Waconia

The lakehome in Waconia was perfect for our weekend getaway! The house was newly renovated and had all the neccesities, plus more!! We loved the proximity to everything. The space was the perfect size for 3 couples to hang out and enjoy all that Waconia had to offer. Highly recommend!

This was a nice cozy place to stay in walking distance of downtown and shopping there

We came into town for a wedding of a family member this was the only available place in Waconia besides a pop up camper. So we wanted to try one of these places so we tried it. We would do it again we were a bit hesitant with all the fees it did make it a bit pricey for a 1 night stay. All in all we enjoyed our trip to WACONIA!

Cute and modern

The house was decorated in a fun, bright, modern style. There was enough seating for the five of us. Kitchen utensils were readily available for all the meals we cooked. The location has a nice view of the lake and is in a quiet area near walking trails and downtown. The house had everything we needed.

Girls weekend

We made plans to see the Carol King musical in Chanhassen. We decided to make a weekend of it. Everything was perfect. The house had many artistic items throughout each room. I told the owner that all the pretty colors made my heart happy. We had everything we needed and more. Hoping to go back in the summertime to enjoy the lake and outside fun! Highly recommend this great retreat!

Wowed in Waconia!

Perfectly arranged and equipped areas for a vacation stay - indoor and outdoor. Favorites were the deck with flame table with view of the lake and all the board games and books throughout for the rainier days. Kitchen had everything needed for a great night or morning cooking for the group. Amazing location. Short walk to downtown Waconia for those nights or mornings out. In short, would not hesitate to recommend this property and we would not stay anywhere else. Felt like a really nice lake resort. Thank you!

Well Stocked and Beautiful Home!

We stayed at the house for a Girls Weekend and it was perfect! The house is well stocked with everything that you could think of (charging cables, noise machines, wireless speakers, kitchen items including spices and oils, bathrobes and slippers, coffee/drink bar). The house was so comfortable. We could have easily hung out in the house or on the deck all weekend. We did some craft projects on a table in the garage which was perfect. The house is walkable to so many restaurants and bars. The owners were very responsive. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect spot! Highly, highly recommend!!

High School Friends Reunion/Gathering

The class of 1985 girls gather for a weekend from time-to-time, and a small group of us decided we wanted to extend this year for an overnight. I no longer live in MN, but was flying back to attend. I found this home on VRBO that appeared to be very close to where we be hanging out in town. When I arrived, everything was perfect. The home was comfortable, cozy, and it was easy to walk to restaurants and shops. Andy and Gail were very responsive and ensured we had a great stay. I'll be renting again in the future, especially in warmer months so we can enjoy more of the outdoor surroundings. Each morning we enjoyed our morning coffee while taking the beautiful view of the lake in. An excellent choice to stay at!

Wait until construction is over in neighborhood

The streets and town were pretty much shutdown due to major road work. The rental was so cluttered with stuff! The furniture was so uncomfortable and now know why no exterior photos was not advertised. The refrigerator and counters were left with expired food! No towels in main shower.

Spectacular!!

We felt appreciated from the moment we made our reservation to stay at this spectacular home, while visiting the area for our son’s wedding. Andy and Gail are wonderful hosts. They reached out to us before our arrival to make sure we did not need any additional info, then again on day of our arrival to let us know where we could park due to Nickle Pickle days going on in town, and during our stay to make sure everything was satisfactory. The home is stunningly beautiful!!! It is clean, cozy, and very welcoming. The decor is fabulous!! Every amenity that you could possibly need, is covered!! The rooms were very spacious, the beds were super, the kitchen is fully supplied, and the hosts have thought of every detail!!! We explored a little of downtown Waconia which is a short 1 block walk. We are very much looking forward to going back to Waconia and staying again at Andy and Gail’s beautiful home, and being able to enjoy the area a lot more. We highly recommend this home and guarantee you that it will be a wonderful experience 🙂

We would like to introduce ourselves. We are Andy & Gail Haering. We have been real estate agents for a long time and brought our experience into the design & set up of this home. We love traveling, decorating , gardening, bicycling and relaxing with a good book. We are cooking enthusiasts. So we set up the kitchen with cookware, utensils, dishes and small appliances to make it fun to cook.
We love renting VRBOs when we travel and have put together what we would want in a home we rent in an effort to create a 5 star stay for our clients.

Waconia is a charming lake town with many fun amenities within blocks. We have comfortable beds, lots of nice kitchen equipment, super nice cookware & small appliances and well stocked supplies. Our beverage station is top notch. We have 4 fondue pots. The bathrooms have all the basics supplied. The home has soft water & great water pressure. We have a living room, family room & art studio. The home is stocked with games, books, yoga equipment, hand weights & more. Each bedroom has white noise machines & essential oil diffusers. There is a washer & dryer. We work hard to offer a very clean home for your stay.
