Welcome to our little home away from home. As you can tell, we enjoy a little blue in our lives. Our home is in the Galena Territories, which means you have access to so many amenities. Three pools, one indoor, workout facilities, small basketball court, and a game room. You'll have access to the owners club with provided key cards. We are only five minutes away from the best golf courses in the area, the Shenandoah Riding Center, Eagle Ridge Spa, and Marina are also close by. Skiing is 20 minutes away. Chestnut Mountain Galena is 12 minutes away. Shopping, restaurants, wine and distillery. Marina is 5 minutes away. Shenandoah Riding Center 9 minutes away. Golf course 5 minutes away. Dubuque 20 minutes away.

Relaxing Getaway

The Blue Cottage was just as described. We enjoyed relaxing there after exploring Galena. We contacted the owner to share some of our concerns and our needs were addressed quickly.

Great stay and great host!

My family and I loved the blue cottage. It was very clean and super cute. The beds were so comfortable and the host had great communication and even offered to let us check in early. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re ever in Galena :)

We loved our short stay. House was the perfect size and very comfortable. Kids enjoyed the tvs in each room. Nathan was very attentive and quick to respond when we asked to check in early and needed help to check in.

Our midwest family of five loves to travel when we can. With young children, hotels just aren't an option anymore. We bought this place because we love the area and it's close to family so it makes visiting much easier. We hope you love it just as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

This little slice of country is perfect for a quick getaway. You're close to skiing, pools, marina, horseback riding, and so much more. Our kids love coming here for the game room, the three pools (one indoor), and trails.

What makes this property unique

You'll have access to the Clubhouse which has pools, basketball court, game room, workout room, locker rooms, and activities! You'll have access to keycards that get you into the building and into the amenities. Want to shop and eat in Galena, it's only 13 minutes away.
