“Hawkeye’s Nest” cabin is located at the top of Pineloch Sun at the 2,900 ft of elevation mark offering partial views of the lake and privacy all with direct access to over 70+ miles of neighboring trails, so snowmobile, ski, or snowshoe directly from your front door!

The space...

Relax nestled in the woods in a beautiful cabin by “Lake Cle Elum”. As you enter the cabin you’ll be greeted by a spacious, open-concept great room that opens up directly to 2 entertaining outdoor decks. The great room features a nest-like feel being perched on the hillside overlooking trees and the partial lake view. With 2 comfortable leather sofas, wood stove, and large 65” smart TV you will never want to leave! The kitchen is ready to provide you everything you will need for fantastic family dinners or feeding a large group (dishware, silverware, cooking utensils, pots & pans). It boasts a stainless-steel refrigerator & dishwasher with modern cement countertops.

You will find 2 bedrooms each with a queen size bed (one room with 43” smart TV) and full bath with custom tile and wood ceiling accents complete the main floor. Upstairs you will find a spacious & cozy loft which has two queen size beds and room for 1-2 queen blow up mattresses. The downstairs level is all about fun with a game room complete with shuffleboard & darts, bar area with fridge for entertaining, separate movie/gaming room with a 55” smart TV and large electric reclining leather couch. You will also find the 2nd bathroom, complete with full size washer and dryer, and a separate entrance to the outside. There are a total of 3 Smart TVs &
Free High-Speed WiFi.

The outdoor living space was designed for relaxing and enjoying quality time with your friends and family. It boasts a large deck with a gas BBQ and comfortable outdoor sectional. We are nestled in the pines for that far away feeling but very close to wineries, restaurants, bars, shopping, golfing and so much more. Minutes from the towns of Ronald, Roslyn, and Cle Elum, and very near Suncadia Resort and their indoor-outdoor pool options.

About your hosts
Hello – We are a family of 5 and have owned "Hawkeye’s Nest" for the last 5 years and have truly enjoyed four seasons of fun, especially during the winter and summer months. Now that our kids are older and moving in different directions we don’t use the cabin as much and have decided to open it up for others to enjoy. We hope you enjoy and create lasting memories as we have. Don’t hesitate to ask any questions during your stay.

**This property features 2 exterior security cameras. Camera 1 faces towards the deck and sliding doors, and camera 2 is facing the cabin entrance areas. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras are motion activated and do actively record sound & video.

Enjoy the morning sunrise or the afternoon sunset over Lake Cle Elum from the deck of this clean and cozy 2 Bedroom plus loft bedroom & 2 Bath cabin for the whole family. With 4 queen beds this updated cabin is ideal for up to 8 people. Queen bed in each bedroom, and loft with 2 queen size beds and room for (2 queen size blow up mattresses). Located 10 min from Roslyn, 15 min from Cle Elum.

Deck - In the winter the deck furniture will be limited to the BBQ, Dining Table, and 6 dining chairs. The lounge chairs, dining table and furniture will not be on the deck after Nov. 21st.

Outside - Located on 20,000 SF lot, sloped property, trees, mountain and lake views, low traffic community road on the property border in most cases but can have times when multiple ATV/snowmobiles travel the road, the cabin driveway is on a dead end street off the main road with little traffic.

Access - Parking is 100 ft from the front door with a couple of stairs to get to the cabin.
Guest access
Access to the full property with exception of the downstairs closet, carport and exterior shed.
Other things to note
In the winter from approximately mid-December to mid-March (possibly earlier or later depending on the snow) the roads are closed to wheeled vehicles and can only be accessed by walking, snowmobile, Snow Taxi or tracked ATV's. The cabin is located approximately 1 mile (uphill in the snow) from the parking area at the bottom of the road. All guest bookings from December 16th through March 20th should assume the road will be closed to wheel vehicles. It's possible the gates may close earlier and open later than those dates.

ALERT NOTICE…The deck is up very high so make sure if you have kids all furniture is set away from the railing.

There are no child gates for the interior/exterior stairs.

NOTE:::For an additional fee of $20 per additional hour and upon request late checkout and early check-in may be available depending on availability.

**Guest access**
Local records confirm that the Pineloch Sun vehicle access gate has been locked from Mid-December through March of the last 12 years. While we can not guarantee snowfall, we hope these records can help you plan. There is an ON-CALL Snow Taxi-Shuttle (Side by Side ATV Vehicle) available to take guest 1 mile up from the Pine Loch Sun Community parking lot. We can provide guidance to contact the local snow taxi/shuttle to schedule a ride to cabin.

Snowmobile or snowshoe in and out at your leisure in the winter months!
Other things to note
Children are welcome with the acceptance of possible inherent risks due to local terrain, cabin layout and features.

*** SNOWMOBILE OR SIDE by SIDE (with tracks) ACCESS ONLY WHEN GATES ARE CLOSED DURING WINTER (approximately from December 2024 to end of March). There is a taxi service that will pick you, your guests (and gear) up at the parking lot and take you to and from Hawkeye’s Nest. Contact Snow Taxi Drivers Jeremy, Scotty or Susan directly @ contact owners for number for availability. they will discuss the transportation fees with you.

Other things to note
A clear night offers phenomenal star gazing. Pet Friendly! (Up to 2 dogs with a $50/nt pet fee), “”Pets are not allowed into the LOFT area due to carpet.”” There is plenty of parking at the base of the Pineloch Sun community for boats, quads and snowmobiles “snowmobile out your front door”.
There is a two night minimum stay. Holidays have a three night minimum stay. Winters are usually filled with snow fun. Up to 8 people…Perfect for one to two families.
The lake is a reservoir so the water level fluctuates offering so many activities year round.

Lake Cle Elum offers a bounty of recreational activities, including boating, jet skiing, swimming, fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, windsurfing, and more! The lake is a 7 mile long reservoir and the water levels fluctuate greatly throughout the year. The water is at its highest point in May through early June.

*Bachelor and bachelorette parties
* *We do not leave favorable reviews for anyone who brings additional guests and is deceitful about it. So please don’t book our cabin if you are having to hide how many ppl you are bringing. We have a Ring camera by the front door.
*Any other group looking for a party place. We are not isolated, we have nice
neighbors, but they have families and they will call me if my guests are partying/being disruptive (quiet hours 10pm to 8am). Please do not book my place if this is your intent, we are not a good fit which means you may not have the grand time you were hoping for.
*smokers, please do not smoke anywhere on/in property.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire cabin. For the safety of our guest access to the carport is prohibited. The space to the left of our cabin (as you come up the driveway) belongs to the neighbor, please help us respect his property by not parking there.
