Welcome to 402 Sailmaker! This two-bedroom, two-bathroom first level newly renovated villa is ready to host your next Amelia Island vacation!

A quick 2.5-minute walk will take you directly to the water's edge and sandy beaches of the gorgeous Florida coastline. The Summer Beach Community is ocean front so no need to cross any streets to get the private beach access! The Sailmaker boardwalk is completely stair free allowing easier access for bikes, baby strollers, wheeled coolers, beach wagons, etc. The Sailmaker pool that this villa overlooks is directly behind the villa and the perfect place to catch some rays or relax in the shade from the magnificent oaks while the kids splash around in the pool. The Summer Beach Village community is also just steps away from the award winning Ritz Carlton where guests have access to all the Ritz's restaurants, shops, golf, and spa.

Upon entry guests will notice the beautiful neutral tile flooring throughout the home. The living area features a queen sleeper sofa and two comfortable chairs centered around a large flat screen smart TV. The dining area offers a round wooden dining table and is a perfect spot for game night as well!

This space receives abundant natural lighting from large, picturesque sliding glass doors. The sliders and windows in this space can also be covered by the installed plantation shutters if privacy or light control is desired.

The fully equipped luxury kitchen overlooks the living area and features stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and a beautiful backsplash. It is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare beach snacks or scrumptious meals at home. Don't miss out on the coffee bar adjacent to the kitchen equipped with both a Keurig, and a regular drip coffee maker!

Stepping through the sliders guests will be treated to a private covered patio furnished with a lovely Adirondack-style table with four chairs as well as two additional Adirondack chairs. The patio overlooks the Sailmaker community pool area and is a dreamy location for enjoying your morning coffee or evening cocktails!

The master bedroom features a queen bed, flat screen smart TV, white headboard and matching bedside tables. There is a reading chair tucked in a corner, ceiling fan, and cheerful décor to complete the package. The attached master bathroom is updated with a tiled walk-in shower and white vanity with a quartz countertop. The patio is accessible via sliding glass doors from this room as well!

Coastal vibes abound in the second bedroom which is furnished with a king platform-style bed and headboard along with matching white bedside tables and a flat screen smart TV. There is a reading chair, a convenient pull-down desk and ceiling fan, too! The adjacent bathroom is updated with a tile walk-in shower and stylish vanity quartz countertops.

We had a great time at Sailmaker 402. The condo was in a great location with easy access to the pool and beach. It was also very clean and had everything it needed to make your stay comfortable. We did have a dog with us, and the ground floor was very convenient. We will definitely stay here again.

Relaxing Retreat

Relaxing by the ocean.

Relaxing by the ocean, collecting shark teeth and exploring the island was a great stress reliever. Condo had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. The management company was welcoming and checked in on us and were so accommodating. Definitely will return with family and with our bikes.

Had a great time!

The place was simple, clean, and a great location. Management was very responsive. The pool was a bit cold, but that was not unexpected for an early Spring Break. So nice having the pool a few feet away and the beach just down the boardwalk. It was a great location and a wonderful vacation.

Stayed 4 nights at this property in Amelia Island right on the beach. Well appointed 2BD/ 2B. Spotless when we arrived. Condo a/c set for comfort when we arrived ice in the bin. If there was one item that was not in perfect working order the dryer took awhile to dry items. All in all I would recommend this condo and I would rent it again.

Beautiful condo.. literally steps to the pool. About an 8 minute walk to the beach(I am old and slow). Super clean. Only issue was parking. There is a tree branch that hangs low in the designated spot for this unit. We have a dog ram 1500, normal height. It was inches from the cab. The extra spots around us stayed full. No way a larger truck or van would fit under this tree. There is additional parking to the left not far from the condo. Other than that absolutely amazing. Perfect location to everything on Amelia. Also an absolutely picture perfect main road lined with beautiful live oaks. Minutes from big Talbot and little Talbot state parks. Both must sees!

Amelia island condo

Condo was nice, but a little too dark for me. The condo was on the bottom floor and the area around it is mostly covered with trees, not allowing much natural light to come in. Also, it would have been usefull to at least have some kind of glass cleaner for the glass top table.

Our amenity package that we provide is advertised with all of our properties, a glass counter cleaner is not advertised, however we do provide Palmolive soap with a sponge that could be used to clean the counters. A few niceties would have helped the condo. First, it felt like a "basement" apartment. Just a few coffee pods would have been a nice touch. Plus a sheet or two of fabric softener would have been nice, too. And seeing as it was a ground floor unit, somethings that would have brightened up the unit would have helped, too. More pictures and decor might have helped, as well.

Thank you for the review Jim. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed all of the amenities that this property provided. This property advertises both having a Keurig and a drip coffee maker, however coffee and coffee pods are not advertised with this property. Our starter amenity pack does includes, and advertise the Gain laundry detergent provided. We have not received any feedback from other guests regarding wanting fabric softener, however we will be more than happy to review this feedback as a management team. We are always looking at ways to innovate our amenity package. This property is located so close to this beach, and with that comes the beautiful oak trees. These oak trees have been around for years, and create a lot of shade. With that, we will take your feedback to the owner in ensuring we continue to keep the property light and airy to offset any shade.
