We live and work in Jakarta, and our Gerupuk home is our favourite escape from the big city to take a deep breath of sea breeze and nature. My wife Inggit loves cooking, my kids Alice & Guillaume love surfing, and I love to jog across the hills behind and down to Tanjung Aan beach, and interact with everyone there.
So we're happy to share our beautiful home, so others can enjoy it and live a true countryside and slightly adventurous experience.

Why they chose this property

The place has much to offer, nature, surf, beach, weather... all this just 20 minutes from the airport.
The local people are adorable and very helpful, we are close to them and it's really like a family. A bunch of expats also live in Gerupuk, making it a very balanced, multicultural and friendly community.
The hardest thing when we are there...is clearly to get back.

What makes this property unique

We are at the end of the Gerupuk village, right above the Surf Camp, where you can enjoy a simple meal and a few beers in good company and a cool surfing mood.
You also can ask our friendly staff, Usup and Isna, to grill fish for you (at your cost).
