2 bedroom raised ranch, spacious eat in kitchen. Outdoor living space with brickstone grill. 2 full bathrooms and an outdoor shower to wash off the beach sand. Bonus lower level with futon, pull out couch and tv. Sheets and towels provided. Along with 3 kayaks, life vests. Walk to private beach or a 5 minute drive to public beach. Beautiful sunsets, shopping close by along with great restaurants downtown or in nearby Onset.

Our family of 6 had a great time staying at Jim & Kristen’s home! The house was very clean, well stocked and comfortable for our group. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and the neighbors are very friendly. We loved eating outside on the large deck for breakfasts and dinner. The hosts were very responsive and pleasant to deal with. It was a great central location for our travels around Cape Cod/Boston. We would highly recommend staying at their house and if we are in the Wareham area in the future, we would definitely stay here again!

Cape Cod getaway

We had an amazing stay on the Cape, and the house was a real enhancement to our vacation. The kitchen was a great size for preparing meals, we enjoyed the outdoor space so much. And the dual living rooms gave us tons of spreading out space. The location was perfect for us. Highly recommend 👍

Friendly place

The location was nice and the community that the house was located in was friendly and welcoming. The house was a great size for us and had everything we needed. The outside shower was fab. Overall a comfortable, relaxing stay.

Lovely stay!

My adult son and I stayed here for few days during the Falmouth Road race which he ran. The house was beautiful and clean! It’s in a neighborhood association with private beach areas which were lovely. The hosts were very responsive with questions. At the house they had kayaks and beach chairs to use which we took advantage of and had a great paddle and time at the Sandy beach along the river. It was a great short stay!

Great home base for Cape Cod exploring

The house was comfortable for our exploration of Cape Cod. We drove out to Provincetown (1.5hrs) and rode the Shining Sea Bike Path (20 min). Visited Plymouth and Sandwich. The owners were very responsive with our questions. We grilled and enjoyed the back deck. The neighborhood was quite friendly.

House not as pictured…we were looking forward to using the outdoor propane table top and very disappointed to learn it had been removed, but still in description. Also spiral staircase had been replaced with a non-code wooden staircase…no graspable handrail, completely open on one side, and if you’re over 3 ft tall, you have to bend at the waist and turn sideways to descend. The bathroom in the lower level is a non-solid waste toilet, which you read about in the house rules. Not what I consider a full bath. There are no towel bars; only 1 hook on the door. Also no recliners in basement as described. Bedroom 2 has no closet and NOT ONE hook to hang a thing…there is a tiny dresser full of toys. If someone is sleeping in the trundle, you need to exit the full bed over the head or foot board. Bedroom 1 does have a dresser but all the handles have been removed, leaving gouged-out holes. Neither bedroom has a mirror. 3 of the 5 doors in the home do not close, including the one that accesses the staircase. In our 20 years of renting vacation homes in this area, this has been the only one we will not return to or recommend.

Following up on our phone conversation after your arrival, I wanted to address the points we discussed. Regarding your group's mobility needs, including three elderly guests and two individuals recovering from surgery, I was not previously aware of this. For future travel, I highly recommend booking an ADA-approved rental property to better accommodate those needs. I apologize for the oversight regarding the fire pit. It had rotted due to the salt air, and I regret that I had not yet removed it from the property description. Regarding the feedback on dresser space and bathroom hooks, we feel the current amenities are sufficient, though we understand guests may have different expectations. Additionally, the property does feature two full bathrooms, each equipped with a toilet, sink, and shower. The downstairs toilet utilizes a mulching system, but it is fully functional as a standard bathroom facility. Best regards

Quiet and nice.

We enjoyed our time here. Host was extremely responsive and very helpful. There are about 5 stairs and a very slight incline to climb to get to the door, but they shouldn’t be a problem unless you just can’t do stairs at all. Quiet street with lots of birds around, especially Osprey! Nice area for walking. If you like good baseball, be sure to check out the Wareham Gatemen!

Pleasant Little House

The location of the house was just right for our purposes. It has some nice amenities, including a fabulous deck with a grill and fire pit. There were plenty of streaming options on the big TV. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and even some food. The main living area was clean and well appointed with a reclining couch and loveseat. We did have a few issues. The air conditioners - which are floor units that vent out the windows - are either on or off, and they go on or off with a THUNK, making it hard for us to sleep. The spiral staircase to downstairs was a bit difficult to navigate. Finally, the second bathroom, which is part of the finished basement at the bottom of the staircase, was not as clean as the main bathroom, and we had to kill several spiders in there during our two-night stay. Overall, however, we had a nice stay and would recommend it.
