What a unique place! Such a fun place for gatherings, yet theres separation to keep people not on top of each other. It was perfect for what we were looking for. My whole family had a blast and we are already in talks of booking again!

A wild my unique oasis in the shadows of F – M

This place is as unique and creative as they come! So much variety, almost too difficult to describe, but has a skater urban vibe in the middle of the country with a touch of redneck. Owner was good to work with and worked out great for our college age birthday party.

Safety Concerns and Mice

I’m providing this review so that others are aware of the state of the elevator. The owner of the property plans to rebut all said here and demonize me for bringing the issues up, because he has told me just as much. I’ve been threatened with legal action for me and my family if we choose to be open about what we found. Our family of ten stayed over the Christmas weekend. Here is the message I sent to the owner following our stay, shortened due to character limitations: We found the elevator in an unfinished state. I was able to see some unfinished pieces in the pictures posted but was not expecting exposed insulation or wires sticking out of the wall. [We did not go anywhere in the elevator that was locked and do have pictures of specific areas of concern.] My mother spotted a mouse the first night. We then found droppings on the kitchen counter each morning and after returning from being in town all day. The second evening, we found droppings in the bed sheets of the loft bed and on the ledge next to it. The last morning, we found droppings on the floor of the room where the children slept and under the sheets of the master bedroom. There are clearly several mice living there. When I emailed the owner, I expected that he would want to take down the postings here and in the other site until he has dealt with the mice and ensured code compliance. He has indicated he doesn’t plan to do so.
