The Kona Makai is a beautiful, sunny, highly sought after Ocean Front Complex located on famous Alii Drive just 1.3 miles from Kailua Village. The Kona Makai features and includes lush tropical gardens, beautifully renovated heated ocean front pool and spa, sunny lounge area, 2 work out rooms, eating area w/ gas BBQ’s, tennis courts, covered parking, free wireless internet, cable TV and is gated during the night for security. This is a top floor unit with a loft and high open beam ceilings. It has both front and back covered lanais with full sliding glass doors equipped with screens. Stay cool with AC. Queen bed in the primary bedroom plus a full and a twin in the upstairs loft. Owners have thought of every possible amenity to accommodate your every need.

Great Deal. Can't beat the location.

Beautiful grounds and prime location for Kailua vacation. The convenience of walking to downtown or running in the morning with coastline at your side makes up for this rental's need for updated appliances and decor. You have all your basic needs and amenities provided to spend a lazy day onsite if preferred. Perfect for a small family on a budget.

This property was perfect for us. It was right by the ocean, close to the shops and dining, the condo residents were all so friendly, and the condo itself had the perfect amount of space for us all. I highly recommend staying here.

Beds are comfortable, unit is pretty clean, pool is nice, close to downtown and satifies most needs. But the condo is not as nice as the pictures would make it seem. It has very uncomfortable chairs in the livingroom & the deck chairs & chair cushions are not comfortable either. There is some rot under the kitchen sink & mold in the shower area. It's time for an update in this condo.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wow what an amazing complex. Beautiful views, great location close to Kona town but away from the busiyness, and the nicest neighbors.
