About this property

Secluded cabin with loft near a creek. Perfect get a way for relaxation.

We built the cabin during the pandemic because the location had great wifi access, and we needed an office to work out of. We named it the Shrek Shack because it gives us the secluded fill. A great place to get away from the hustle of everyday stressors and relax. There is a fishing pond and creek access for during the day and a fire pit for night.

It is off the Natchez Trace Parkway. It is located 23.6 miles from Crockett Park in Lawrenceburg, Tn. that also offers several restaurants. It is also 25.7 miles from the Crazy Horse Recreational Park in Waynesboro, Tn. that offers kayaking and swimming. There are also restaurant options offered in Waynesboro and Lawrenceburg.

Beautiful cabin getaway

I have vacationed many places and this was by far my favorite. The creek was perfect for my baby and older child to play and explore. Secluded and private to make for a calm relaxing getaway. The owners were very kind and accommodating. We would love to visit again.

The cabin was perfect in every way. Plenty of room for the kids to run and a creek for them to play in. The owners also own a resort that is breath taking! 10/10 I recommend this beautiful cabin. The owners were very helpful in any questions I had as well. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Great little secluded cabin!

We absolutely loved staying for the weekend! It’s definitely off the beaten path but that’s what we wanted. There’s a beautiful creek running in front of the cabin and we spent some time wading around and just enjoying it. We even saw some deer and other wildlife! Bring some bottled water since the water onsite is non potable. Be sure and download maps since service is hit or miss. Internet in the cabin works great!
