Waikiki Banyan Ocean Deluxe Condo, Government certified for short term rentals.

This large, fully furnished, one-bedroom/one-bath condo is on the 34th floor at the Waikiki Banyan. This corner unit features beautiful ocean views. Free parking and Wifi use. The kitchen was recently redecorated. Brand new air upgraded conditioner. Newly upgraded Queen size sofa bed and lounge chairs in living room.

The condo accommodates up to four guests -- with two twin beds (which can be converted to a king-size bed, upon request) and a queen-size sofa bed. Amenities include air-conditioning, a lanai, upgraded HD cable TV, a DVD player, and a phone with unlimited free local calls to the island of Oahu. There is free high speed wireless inter-net access. Additionally, there is a full kitchen and free parking. The unit was recently redecorated with new wood and tile floors, new paint, new vanity & tiles in the bathroom as well as plush new beds and new island furniture and new drapes. Waikiki Beach is just one block away.
This is a great romantic getaway
There is a large newly renovated recreation deck and heated pool.

We have stayed at this condo multiple times over the years. Being an end unit, facing south, not only is the view great but the cross ventilation with the tradewinds makes for a very nice and comfortable stay. Two blocks to the beach for swimming, surfing, and snorkeling puts the cherry on top for a memorable visit. The owner is responsive and helpful from booking to checkout. Certainly, we look forward to our next visit! Thank you, Howard.

Excellent property in a super convenient location. A few quirks about this older unit (balcony door wouldn’t lock close, front door sometimes got jammed) but everything was clean and comfortable! Having the laundry right next door is SO convenient, and free parking is a huge plus. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Condo is comfortable and accommodating. However, latch on the bathroom window was broke and therefore allowed a lot of wind in.

The location of the condo is an asset - close to everything you need, plus the beautiful ocean view. It’s nice and cozy to stay. I wish I stayed longer in Oahu, which has better spots for snorkeling.

We are glad that the guest appreciated our great views and free parking. Our condo was repainted and got new drapes and our sofa bed and chairs were reupholstered a couple of years ago so I don't understand what she means that it needs updating. It was unfortunate that our agent's linen supplier didn't deliver the day she arrived & so the sofa bed didn't have fresh linen & there was some sand & debris in it which only became apparent when you opened it up. Finally no one else has made similar comments.

Nice Stay - Beautiful View

Good location and a clean and comfortable condo, Howard was easy to work with and check-in/out was a breeze. The building is dated but well maintained, and some mentioned slow elevators but we found them to be quick for a high rise building. Free parking a very nice perk and we would stay here again if we were to return to Oahu.

Our family loves Hawaii. We live in Palo Alto California but have been vactioning in Hawaii since the late 1970's. We loved it so much that we decided to purchase a condo in the Waikiki Banyan in 1984 for our family to enjoy and to rent out to others when we weren't there. Now our grown children and their children also love it. We chose the Waikiki Banyan because it is family friendly, well located near the beach and zoo. We chose our unit because of it's fabulous ocean view on the 34 th floor. We have had multiple generations of families staying in our unit over the years.

Why they chose this property

Because of it's location near the beach and Kapiolani Park and the zoo. Because of all of it's amenities. Because of it's friendly staff.

What makes this property unique

We love sitting out on the lanai and watching the ocean and surfers and swimmers. We enjoy being only 1 block from the beach and 2 blocks from Kapiolani Park and the zoo. We love the fabulous views from our condo
