Nice place - needs attention
Nice little cabin, definitely in the boonies; the internet did not work while I was there and there was an unfortunate, very strong odor which I found pretty unpleasant. The odor, I think, was mouse urine. Not having decent internet was a real problem for me. I chose this location in part on the claim of internet access for my working vacation. I arrived on a Friday and communication with the managers was pretty non-existent through the weekend. I eventually heard back from someone, and she was duly concerned to hear about both my major gripes. I think it was Tuesday that a guy showed up to look at the internet. He confirmed that it was misbehaving and said someone else would come out to straighten it out in a day or two. This didn't concern me since I decided to leave a day early anyway. Other minor gripes: - although the place was immaculately clean, this included a minimum of basic kitchen items: no scrubby for dishes and a soft brush is not enough; - windows above the kitchen sink had the handles of the cranks removed so that they could not be opened. I can understand this, since lunkheads probably open them wide and then wander off for the day, allowing the rain in when they are not there. But there are other solutions that would allow visitors to open them perhaps two inches, which would be nice when there is call to air the place out; - beds are short with footboards that make them uncomfortable for folks over 6 feet tall.

Cozy hideaway
Perhaps one of the most clean and well cared for rentals we’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful wooded surroundings, quiet and peaceful. Easy access to any number of finger lakes activities.
