Loved it! The isolation is exactly what we needed. I enjoyed keeping the wood stove going and checking on the solar and generator personally. Would recommend to anyone to listen to John's directions exactly...dont trust your gps(although we found Google Maps and Waze to work perfect)..the cabin is on a dead end private road in the mountains...our friends found that apple maps sent them down a snow mobile trail, luckily a wrecker was able to get to them and tow them out. Endless trails and forest to wander. Never saw anyone except the occassional snow mobile go by
For mountain bikers looks for easy access to the KT East Haven Trails, this place is a gem. The cabin has great views of the valley and the outdoor shower was quit nice. Overall a great place for a weekend retreat with friends or family.
Our host John was fantastic. The cabin was the best I've ever stayed in. It's very remote, private and off grid which we absolutely loved. The views were unbelievable and the sunsets were amazing. Our dogs loved it as much as we did!!

Really clean. Owner called to make sure we found property OK and if we needed anything. Beautiful views.
The road became impassable and sadly we had to find other lodgings. Host stopped communicating. Am currently seeking a refund since we were unable to stay. Be advised the road is a path through the woods.
Assume it was comfortable and clean.
The Cabin was great for my family, and pets. We spent 5 days during New Years and the house was warm and had everything you could need to stay. Just bring your food and your family. The owner is lovely, and kind. The drive up was beautiful and the land is amazing as well. We were 3 1/2 hours from the cabin and plan to book with them again.
