Welcome to Moonrise Ridge, an exquisite new cabin privately managed by Moonrise Vacation Properties, LLC. As a small, family-owned business, we are dedicated to ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests.
Prepare to be captivated as you explore the very same mountains that Dolly Parton, the beloved Queen of Country, called home. Moonrise Ridge is conveniently located just 2 miles from Dolly's childhood residence and rests upon the ridge that inspired her timeless song, "My Tennessee Mountain Home." Tucked away in the peaceful seclusion of Locust Ridge in Sevierville, Tennessee, this property offers a tranquil retreat that remains close to all the area's attractions. Cal Ripken is a mere 20 minutes away, Rocky Top Sports World is also 20 minutes away, Dollywood is just 15 minutes away, Ole Red's is a short 22-minute drive, and the magnificent Great Smoky Mountains National Park is, as you might have guessed, only 20 minutes away. The best part is that the mountain roads leading to these destinations are less congested than the bustling parkway, ensuring your travel is both effortless and enjoyable.
Let's take a moment to explore the property. As you cross the Little Pigeon River, you'll meander through rolling pastures, catching glimpses of grazing cattle along the river's edge. Upon arriving at the cabin, you'll immediately be struck by the tranquility and seclusion that envelops it. Your only neighbors will be the creatures of nature, as this property is frequented by bears, deer, birds, and other woodland inhabitants. The beauty of the flora and fauna on this land will leave you in awe. Immerse yourself in the soothing sounds of the river, the breathtaking mountain vistas, and the harmonious melodies of the animals that call this area home.
Moonrise Ridge is a recently constructed 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom cabin that features an indoor electric fireplace, a well-appointed kitchen, and a delightful loft game room complete with air hockey, a multicade arcade game, and Boss Toss—a cornhole game. In the basement, you'll discover the ultimate entertainment space, including our very own karaoke stage—"Live, at Moonrise Ridge." We even host a monthly competition for our guests! Additionally, there is a theater room with an impressive 86" TV and nine recliners, providing an immersive viewing experience for your favorite movies or sports events. Just bring your streaming logins!
The main floor boasts a remarkable master bedroom named "Texas," which comes with an ensuite bathroom. This room features a king bed, access to the deck, and a shower that will astonish you with its size! Upstairs, you'll find two queen bedrooms that share a bathroom. In the basement, there is a bunk suite with two twin-over-full built-in bunks. This bedroom shares a bathroom with the recreation area.
Outside, you can explore the stunning acre-and-a-half property. Take in the majestic mountain views from the fire pit area, which is equipped with picnic tables for your enjoyment. The back porch is home to a hot tub, perfect for unwinding and listening to the melodies of the whippoorwills or tree frogs after a day of exploring the wonders of the Smoky Mountains.
To cater to your grilling needs, we provide both a charcoal grill and a gas grill at Moonrise Ridge. This cabin is a true hidden gem in the heart of the Smokies, and we are thrilled to share its splendor with you!
