Imagine immersing yourself in the same majestic mountains that served as the childhood home of the iconic Queen of Country, Miss Dolly Parton. Moonrise Ridge is conveniently located just 2 miles from Dolly's childhood residence, nestled on the serene ridge where she drew inspiration to pen her legendary song "My Tennessee Mountain Home." This secluded property is nestled on Locust Ridge in Sevierville, Tennessee, offering a tranquil escape while still being within a convenient 20-minute drive of all the area's attractions. Whether you're visiting Cal Ripken, Rocky Top Sports World, Dollywood, Ole Red's, or the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, you'll find them all within easy reach. The best part is that the roads leading to these attractions are less crowded than the busy parkway, ensuring a smoother and more enjoyable travel experience.

Let us take you on a journey through the property. As you cross the serene Little Pigeon River, you'll meander through rolling pastures, catching glimpses of cattle grazing along the riverbanks. As you approach the cabin, you'll be enveloped in a sense of peace and seclusion. The only neighbors you'll encounter are the creatures of nature, including bears, deer, birds, and other woodland inhabitants. The beauty of the flora and fauna that grace this property is truly astonishing. Immerse yourself in the soothing sounds of the nearby river, behold breathtaking mountain views, and savor the melodious tunes of the animals that call this serene sanctuary their home.

This recently constructed cabin boasts four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. Inside, you'll discover a cozy indoor electric fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and a delightful loft game room featuring air hockey, a multicade arcade game, and Boss Toss—a fun cornhole game. Downstairs, an entertainment haven awaits, complete with our very own karaoke stage named "Live at Moonrise Ridge," which hosts a monthly competition for our guests! Additionally, there's a theater room with an impressive 86" TV and nine plush recliners, perfect for enjoying the big game or your favorite movies. Simply bring your streaming logins, and you're all set!

The main floor boasts a stunning master bedroom named Texas, featuring an ensuite bathroom. This room offers a luxurious King bed, doors that lead to the deck, and an extraordinary shower that will leave you in awe! Upstairs, you'll find two queen bedrooms that share a bathroom, while the basement features a bunk suite with two twin-over-full built-in bunks. This bedroom has a bathroom that is shared with the recreation area.

Outside, you'll have the opportunity to explore and immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of the Smoky Mountains on the acre and a half of stunning property. An area with picnic tables and a fire pit allows you to embrace the mountain scenery just off the ridge. The back porch is home to a relaxing hot tub, where you can unwind to the soothing sounds of whippoorwills and tree frogs after a day of exploring the wonders of the Smoky Mountains.

For those who enjoy grilling, we provide both a charcoal grill and a gas grill for your culinary pleasure here at Moonrise Ridge. This cabin truly is a hidden gem in the Smokies, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to share it with you!

Outside, you can fully immerse yourself in the beauty of the Smoky Mountains with a peaceful walking path along the ridge. Additionally, there's a cozy fire pit available. Please bring or buy your own firewood.

We gladly welcome well-trained, housebroken dogs. They must be over 18 months old and vaccinated. $35 per dog per night. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate cats due to severe allergies. When making your booking, please provide the age, vaccination status, and breed of each dog, and confirm that there is no history of biting.

Please note that we do not provide baby gates and do not allow them to be pressure-mounted due to damage to tongue and groove.

NOTE: Government ID required to be sent when rental agreement is signed for booking to be accepted. Primary renter must be age 25 or older, and must remain on site for the reservation term.
