Inside this dog-friendly home find three well-appointed bedrooms, updated kitchen with everything you need, and a light-soaked, open-concept living area.
Downhill Lodge is a quaint 900sqft chalet located on a beautiful lot in the mature, wooded recreational community of Locust Lake Village - the heart of the Pocono Mountains.
Kitchen:
Our newly renovated kitchen includes everything you need to prepare and serve home-cooked meals during your stay. Included: Refrigerator/freezer, large sink, cutting board and knife set, utensils, plates and bowls, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, coffee maker, pots and pans, baking trays, salt and pepper, oil, and more.
Dining Room:
Located at the center of the living space is the large dining table with bench and chair seating for six. Serving platters, cups and glasses, plates and bowls, and plenty of flatware are available.
Living Room:
Comfortably arranged around the propane fireplace (functioning from October- April) the living room includes seating, a smart TV for you favorite streaming services, games, and Poconos-themed books. Don't forget to sign the guestbook while you're enjoying the view out of the over-sized windows.
Master Loft:
The arching, cedar-lined ceiling guides you to a large open loft overlooking the open floor plan. A spacious king-size Tempur Pedic and fresh linens awaits the weary traveler. Plenty of room for your items in the large dresser, plus luggage racks for both sides of the space. Wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee and a book in the reading nook overlooking the living space. Two sets of linens available.
Queen Room:
Off the main living space is the Queen Room which includes a queen-size bed, closet, full-length mirror, and air conditioning to help beat the summer heat. Two sets of linens available.
Twin Room:
Twin mattress trundle beds pull out to sleep two in a multi-purpose room. Bedroom when you need it, but also a cozy work station, plus washer/dryer and supplies closet for use during your stay. Two sets of linens available.
Bathroom:
Small but mighty, our bathroom is the perfect place to freshen up during your visit. Towels, hand soap, hair dryer, and more included. NOTE: Please avoid flushing anything other than waste and toilet paper - even other "flushable items" - into our septic system to avoid icky issues.
Deck:
The large front deck is the perfect place to relax. Outdoor dining is a great option, along with meals prepared on the propane grill. Enjoy the soothing sound of running water from our cascading waterfall feature while breathing in the crisp mountain air.
Fire Pit:
What's a trip to the mountains without a campfire? Enjoy our large fire pit and Adirondack chairs in the backyard. Wood provided. Please follow rules in welcome app/packet when lighting a campfire.

About the host
Hosted by Jessica

I am from Bucks County, Pennsylvania. I love being a host and helping people plan their vacations. Hearing about the memories made at Down Hill Lodge makes me so happy. I am excited to share it with our guests!
Why they chose this property
This neighborhood has nature all around you. We love watching everything from chipmunks to deer out our front windows. There are 3 gorgeous beached lakes for swimming with lots of shade, parks, and picnic tables. We love picnics at the lake, and packing a bag to stay all day!
What makes this property unique
The open air King Loft is a super memorable part of our house. The open concept living area allows for the ability to spend quality time with family. The front porch with the cascading waterfall feature and large green ferns all around you is truly serene!
