Escape to Cubs Cabin, a cozy 2-bedroom lake retreat just one block from the main lake and clubhouse. Located in a private gated community, you’ll have access to five lakes for swimming, fishing, and paddle boating, along with pools, sandy beaches, tennis and basketball courts, and playgrounds.

When adventure calls, you’re just a short drive from top Pocono ski resorts, hiking trails, waterfalls, and Pocono Raceway. Whether you’re here to relax or explore, Cubs Cabin offers the perfect balance.

The cabin features a spacious open living area with high ceilings—perfect for game nights, reading, or unwinding with your favorite shows. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook and gather with family and friends.

Two cozy bedrooms provide a comfortable place to recharge, while the private deck and hot tub offer the perfect way to end your day under the stars.

The detached garage has been converted into a fun-filled game room with a pool table, ping pong, shuffleboard, darts, and ring toss—great for all ages.

Cubs Cabin is Homey

Gretchen was so amazing to work with. She was so communicative, made it so easy to get there, and just has the best place. The little touches she made to her place made the entire stay. From having little bags of corn to feed the deer to smores stuff ready to go, it was wonderful.

Great, cozy stay!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Gretchen's place - it was cozy, with the biggest cozy couch to lounge on, the hot tub was awesome, and all the amenities/appliances needed. Gretchen was a super helpful host and even allowed us an early check in time. The neighborhood was safe and quiet, though not the best for walking in case that was on your agenda.

No fireplace heat or AC

No fireplace, no heat and it was going down to 50’s at night, no AC.Ring doorbell pointed right at front sitting area were we wanted sit and have a drink and talk.Weird nightlights everywhere we felt like we were on camera. No privacy around hot tub. We knew we wouldn’t enjoy and left in 1 hour after arriving. Wish I could have gotten some money back.

Hello Kevin, After you arrived to our home early with no notice and called our personal cell phone refusing to use the VRBO app, we informed you that we had window unit air conditioners available for your use any time you need them. However, given that during your stay the temperature was supposed to be consistently in the 50’s and 60’s with no humidity they would most likely be unnecessary to which you agreed. The fireplace in our home works well in the winter months but as mentioned in the listing is not available in the summer months due to obvious reasons. We do have baseboard heat available year round for your comfort that is always functional. We have two Ring cameras with description of their location disclosed in the listing. Our hot tub is underneath a pergola on the back deck with curtains all around it for your privacy. Finally, we do have night lights in the home because it gets very dark at night and we don’t want anyone to trip and hurt themselves. We also have small children that get scared at night time. But they are easily removed if they are not necessary. This cabin is our family’s second home and we take great pride in the effort we put in to making this cabin a space that is comfortable and enjoyable for everyone.

This cabin is in a gated community we had no issues getting into the community. You can walk to the lake from the house. One of the best things was the deer will come up to you so do not be afraid they are so gentle and amazing. My dog loved sitting on the porch and watching the deer. We didn’t use the hot tub but that was because we were so tired from hiking but it was working and we could have used it. This is a cabin like you would imagine any family would have very perfect for the area. The game room is in the detached garage. The host was available any easy to get ahold of. The only down side which didn’t really bother me but the main bedroom did have a muggy kind of smell and it’s kind of normal in a cabin that happens so I didnt mind it. That would be it everything else was good. I would also say this is great if you have a dog because of the fence just to be able to bring our dog made it worth it. We loved the beauty and nature. There are also 4 different places to eat within a 5 min drive so that was amazing.

The cabin was so cozy! It was a lovely stay for us and my pup who loved the space in the backyard while we enjoyed the hot tub. Seven Tubs was also only a half hour away and so gorgeous!
