Salty Seas Cottage is a historic home in downtown Swansboro that has been remodeled to feature modern amenities while maintaining it's originality. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, marinas and parks. Nearby, you'll find local seafood markets, kayak rentals, boat excursions and you're within 5 miles of Hammocks Beach State Park and Emerald Isle beach.

This is a true one bedroom home with an open concept living and kitchen area and full bath with washer and dryer. The living room features a pull out sofa with a queen size memory foam mattress. The bedroom includes a king size bed and dressing area with a lighted make-up mirror. High-end appliances compliment the kitchen and eating area for those who like to cook and eat in.

Outside, enjoy a fenced in yard with garden (depending on the time of year, you may be able to enjoy some fresh veggies) and a covered porch that begs to be lounged on with a gas grill on the side.

We really enjoyed staying in this cottage during the Holidays. It is decorated very nicely and felt cozy. The owner left us some welcoming treats (bakery) that made our arrival nice.

Perfect getaway

This place was just what we needed for our family vacation! It was super close to the beach and downtown, only a 2-block walk away from downtown. The host was really helpful and the house was spotless!

We would recommend this place to others. It is well taken care of and is spotless. Many amenities are provided and we couldn't have asked for a better location. The neighborhood was very quiet and we felt that everything was close by.

The property is small but mighty! You can walk to any location downtown AND it is cozy and decorated fabulously. The AC works better than any rental I’ve ever had (and it was not set low)! The yard is icing on the cake! Beds are super comfortable!!!

This was a great property in a good location in the historic section of Swansboro. Great cottage. While it didn’t change our rating, the bathtub was hard to get into. The shower was not what we expected, but we made do. The host was very good and responsive to any questions.

Beautiful Home and City

Beautiful home in a great location. This was my family's first trip to Swansboro for a baseball tournament and each time we arrived back at the house it was so comfortable and relaxing. We enjoyed the porch and yard, walks to the water, to dinner, shops and the candy store. My kids are already asking if we can visit again.

The house was perfect for me and my son, in town for a baseball tournament. The comfort and cleanliness combined, with The great location, which allowed us to walk to the charming downtown for meals, made for the perfect stay. I would totally recommend this for those interested.

HoneyMoon Stay in Swansboro North Carolina

It was very cute bungalow. We really enjoyed the decor and the owners thought of everything. We really loved it. The house was I'm a great location an in walking distance for going to the beach and to go souvenir shopping at the lil shops and restaurants. They had they had a welcome sign for us being newly Weds. I thought that was very sweet.

Weekend Getaway

Everything was awesome. The property owner (Tammy) was easy to contact and replied almost simultaneously to any question. Tammy had a plate of local Strawberries when we arrived which was unexpected and greatly appreciated. Location was great and plenty things to do within a 25 miles radius. The cottage is decorated as you would expect for a beach getaway. At the top of our list when we go back..10+ star rating!

"Perfect getaway"

Just what we needed! I felt like I had stepped back in time to "Mayberry". Although we loved our time at the beach and my husband enjoyed a little fishing, my favorite moments were the early mornings and evenings sitting on the recliner on the front porch as families and couples peacefully strolled by with their doggies, etc. The home was immaculate and beautifully decorated with everything we needed. Would highly recommend to anyone who would enjoy a quiet, peaceful getaway!
