This Cozy Mountain Cabin Getaway provides you with all the amenities you will need for your vacation fun. The only thing you have to bring is your toothbrush!!

Our cabin is located 3,000 feet up in the beautiful Northeast Georgia Mountains just a stone's throw away from shopping and dining in Clayton, Dillard, Helen, Franklin, Cashiers, Dillsboro, Cherokee, Maggie Valley, Gatlinburg, Waynesville and Asheville.

There are many outdoor activities, things to do and places to see. Choose from white water rafting, hiking, horseback riding, gem mining, tubing, fly fishing, boating, swimming, water skiing, golf, snow skiing, wineries ('12 Spies Vineyards & Farm' is just around the corner!) and antique stores. You are just minutes away from Tallulah Falls and Gorge, Black Rock Mountain State Park, the Smokey Mountains, and the Blue Ridge Parkway where you will see some of the most breathtaking mountain views in all of America.
Lots of great places to eat and shop in Downtown Clayton. Whether you're looking for fine dining or local Mexican food. The Cupboard Cafe in Dillard is one of our favorites! Country cooking with great service and a cute little gift shop! In Clayton, you'll find fine dining at Fortify, great Italian food at Mama Gs's, Lacabana for great Mexican Food, Oinkers for local BBQ, too many places to name!! Clayton Cafe is amazing along with the bakery and coffee shop next door! Lots of local shopping in Dillard and Downtown Clayton or just a few miles up the road to Highlands, NC, or Franklin!

Great cabin with lots of space

We absolutely loved this cabin. There was plenty of room for two families and it has two large porches to sit and enjoy the outdoors. This is a great rental at a great price.

Great weekend getaway

We had a great time! Hiked Tallulah Gorge and also went to Admiral,Axe for axe throwing. Saw nice snow falling and sticking on the way up Thursday. The cabin is beautiful in the snow. Would Definitely stay again.

Great Getaway!

We had plenty of room to spread out. It had everything we needed. It rained a couple of days while we were there so we just hung out doing a puzzle, watching movies and eating. So nice to have time with the family.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This property was everything I envisioned for our family weekend getaway in the North Georgia mountains. The cabin is tucked in the woods and gives a sense of privacy, but is not difficult to reach or far from town. There was great space for our family and my kids loved the bunk room. The best part was how responsive our hosts were. Anything we needed, they were quick to respond and accommodate. I highly recommend this cabin!

Christmas in the Mountains

We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin for our annual after Christmas get together. We had ages from 4-90 and all had a good time. If it had one more room it would be perfect for us every year. Loved the neighborhood and my grandmother absolutely loved the fireplace and kept it going 24 hrs a day! Thanks for sharing your little getaway with us!

Loved the cabin

My husband & I came with our 3 children (ages 14, 11, & 9) our dog, Koda, (a Westie), my mom, her boyfriend and their 2 dogs (a German Shepard & a Mississippi Mudhound). You would think with 4 adults, 3 kids & 2 LARGE dogs, we would be cramped but this cabin is so spacious and well laid out that it was perfect. The linens, dishes, pots, pans, and silverware were well taken care of and the cabin was immaculate! My mother travels frequently and said this is the best cabin they have ever stayed in and my husband and I will DEFINITELY come again!!!

I was there once before and nothing changed. Old dingy towels .No smart TV. I just feel like there should have been smart tvs in cabin. Please update with some new towels or have guest bring their own.

Great Weekend Getaway

My family and I needed a little R&R for a long weekend, and this was the perfect place to make it happen. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us (2 married couples and 2 of my grown kids). We were only minutes from town but felt far away from it all. The owner made us feel very welcome and kept great correspondence with us. Our dog (Bella) had a great time playing with the neighbors dogs and taking long walks with me. We actually saw 3 deer one morning while walking. We had breakfast at the Dillard House, fed the farm animals on their property and went horse back riding on their trails. We are pretty much city people and this was a great experience for us. We attempted skiing in Maggy Valley which is just a short 45 minute drive, but because of the holiday weekend was going to be a very long wait to ski, so we opted to come back another date. We will definitely come back to this wonderful home. Thank you Stephen

Family Mountain Getaway

Cozy cabin in the mountains with woods all around you that can explore. Relaxing nights by the fire pit. Lots of activities close by for all ages. Just a short drive to restaurants groceries etc. We had a wonderful time!

Had the best time! Home was great for our large family, the roads getting to the home is a little nerve wracking your first time arriving ( recommend arriving during the day) but it makes for a fantastic walk . Beds were comfortable, and rooms had fans which was a huge plus for us. Would recommend staying !

Great weekend get away

Everything was clean. The property manager was very responsive and communicative. There was some damage done to the property by previous tenants, but the manager let me know so we could plan accordingly. Very pleasant stay overall, would stay there again.

Beautiful location in a well maintained cabin

Lovely property in a fabulous location. Quiet, private and inviting. So much to do within a reasonable driving radius. Very clean and sufficiently equipped. Hosts communicate great. Would happily book again. Extra observations: downstairs bedrooms do not heat like the upstairs. They were very cold. There is a safety gate on the stairs. Tubs are designed to not seal for baths, which was slightly inconvenient with small children. Washer and dryer are full size and work well. Sunset out the back is fabulous.

Why they chose this property

We bought our home to be close to my Dad who lived in Scaly Mountain, NC for 20+ years. My wife and I have been entertaining friends and family at our home now for nearly nine years. We always look forward to staying here. The best times have been in the Fall (When the leaves change color), Thanksgiving, Christmas and the 4th of July. We hope you find it as inviting as we do.

What makes this property unique

There is so much to do. From my home, you are close to some of the most beautiful scenery we have ever seen. You'll never get bored. Plus, there is so much to do and many great stores and restaurants just minutes away. Our home is close to hiking trails, waterfalls, lakes and legendary sightseeing adventures such as the drive through the Smokeys, the Blue Ridge Parkway and the 250 room French Chateau Biltmore House located in Asheville, NC the 'Paris of the South'. You won't have enough time to see everything, so make plans to come back over and over again.
