Hotel needs work

The first thing that you notice when you pull in is a giant pothole in their driveway. They want to charge 5/night parking when no other hotel does within 20 miles. I must have killed at least 8 fly’s in the room upon entering. I should have asked for a refund and found another place to stay. The next morning a washer broke and flooded the hallway to the lobby. They couldn’t help the flood, but, I didn’t see anyone around trying to clean it up. You might save a few dollars staying there if you don’t mind putting up with things like flys.

1. The pictures in the listing did not represent this property. 2. There is no lobby- I expected the lobby posted on the listing. There were a number of people sitting/waiting in the entry area (approx 8x10 room with chairs) A note stated to ring the phone for service. Ursula came out with an unfriendly greeting. I was thoroughly confused because no information was provided about how to check into this property. 3. I was asked to pay to have my car parked in their (near empty) lot 4. I was asked to pay a security deposit, again- not stated in the rental agreement with vrbo. 5. A number of trash bags sitting outside tenant doors (It appears this “All Suite Hotel” is a long term residence.. there were no cleaning carts in the hall to equate to room cleaning as a reason for bags of garbage.. 6. I was so befuddled about the atmosphere/check in that I asked Ursula if it was safe to stay there.. at which time she began to question the tattoos on my arm. She then said “maybe I should ask you if I’m safe.. that’s what I should be asking you!” As if to say because I have tattoos I may be a shady character.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE, especially as a single woman. I did not feel safe. I went up to the room and heard men talking loudly and somewhat aggressively in the adjoining room! I spent about 30 min in there- then I went to my concert and DID NOT RETURN. There was NO WAY I was going back there after dark. ROOMPICKS/VRBO grossly misrepresented this property
