The Mansfield Oasis is a beautiful 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home with Heated saltwater swimming pool, fire pit, and swing in a peaceful backyard oasis. Take the great escape to this gorgeous home, featuring 6 beds, 3 queen air mattresses and a sofa sleeper, that will sleep 12 comfortably with a maximum of 16 guests.

Luxury primary suite with separate shower and stand alone garden tub is on the second floor along with two other bedrooms and a bathroom.
Enjoy a movie in the upstairs loft overlooking the first floor.
Secondary bedroom with king bed and bath on first floor.

THE SPACE

The Mansfield Oasis features 2 living room areas, a primary room with king and sofa bed, 1 queen & twin bed, 1 queen & twin bed, and 1 king bed downstairs with 3 queen Air mattresses. Backyard has large fire pit, swing, seating area and heated pool that can be enjoyed all year around. Use of heater with additional fees, must be requested in advance.

Close to dining, shopping and entertainment. Within 25 minutes of AT&T Stadium, Texas Live!, Globe Life Park, Joe Pool Lake, Six Flags Over Texas, Epic Water Park, Boulder Adventure Park and more.

Just 40 minutes from downtown Fort Worth, downtown Dallas, American Airlines Center, DFW Airport, Irving/Las Colinas, Toyota Music Factory and more.

GUEST ACCESS

The entire house, excluding the garage and linen closet under the stairs.

PETS

The Mansfield Oasis is pet friendly. Small to medium size dogs up to 40lbs are welcome. A $125 pet cleaning fee is required with all pet stays. Up to 2 pets.

POOL HEATER USE

Use of the pool heater requires 48 hour advance notice. An additional fee of$150 for 1-2 night stays, $200 for 3-4 night stays, $200 for 5-6 night stays and $250 for 7-9 night stays will be required to use the pool heater. The heater can be requested between November -April.

EVENTS

Small events up to 20 guests are allowed with advance approval. MUST FOLLOW ALL EVENT AND HOUSE RULES.

*Considered events such as birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, family gatherings, graduations, bachelor/bachelorette, watch parties, retreats, lunchons.

*The maximum number of overnight guests is 16. Additional fees of $35 per person apply after 12 overnight guests.

*All events require a minimum of 72 hour notice for approval.

*Event hours must be between 8am - 8pm.

*The following details must be provided to the host prior to approval: Event date, time, type of event and expected number of guests.

*No loud music or noise outdoors that would disturb the surrounding neighbors.

*Guests are required to clean after all events. Remove trash and restore property to pre-event condition.

*Failure to clean after the event will result in a $300 event cleaning fee.

*****Events held at property without approval may result in termination of reservation and additional fees up to $500.*****

Don’t advertise that the home sleeps 16 people if it actually won’t. Three queen air mattresses do not constitute saying that the home sleeps 16. Two grown adults on an air mattress is not a comfortable stay, so really the house only sleeps 10 adults comfortably. Plus one of the air mattresses cord was not intact, another one of the air mattresses kept deflating on a couple all night long so they ended up on the couch, so we had 3 adults on couches. Not to mention there were no sheets for the air mattresses, there were 2 fitted sheets that’s all, no blankets or pillows to accommodate the adults that had to end up on air mattresses, for at least one night that is, until it started deflating on them. We had a party of 13 people and 3 adults were not comfortable for the 3 nights that we were there. When a guest messages the host to ask them ahead of time if there will be certain things at the house and they say yes they will make sure said items or requests are there at the home and they’re not there, that’s just wrong. Also, I would highly recommend that if you’re gonna offer a swimming pool, you should remind your potential guests several times before their arrival date, that they have to put in a request to turn the heat on 48hrs in advance. Sorry, most people don’t think to do that because they assume the pool will be on and ready for use by guests.

It’s extremely important to read the entire listing as well as our house manual because all details are provided. The 3 queen air mattresses are listed in VRBO and the pillows, sheets and covers for them are located in the cabinet in the loft(it’s the only thing in those cabinets but guest failed to look, nor did they ask the host. They would have been directed to them.) The pool heater runs on gas, so yes there is a fee to use. It’s also required to request 48 hours in advance because it takes up to 40 hours to heat. The fee and the requirements for pool heater are on the listing. The guest asked to use the pool heater on their 3rd day of the reservation which was 20 hours prior to their departure. Therefore, their request had to be declined. I explained the requirements, however, they were not happy at me, even though they didn’t read the instructions prior to booking or check-in. The missing item they referred to was our Poker Chips Set. We learned someone had taken it during this guest stay. Unfortunately, we can’t control broken or stolen items, however, we replace them once notified. There is now a replacement set available. While we strive to ensure all our guest has an amazing stay, it is up to the guest to read fully to understand our what’s available and where. The most important part would be to communicate with the host during the stay on concerns, not after. This entire complaint could have been avoided with proper reading and communication with host.

Disappointing Experience: Pool Issues and Lack of Essentials at VRBO Mansfield Oasis Rental

While there were some positive aspects to our experience, we encountered several issues that impacted our overall satisfaction. We encountered some maintenance concerns that detracted from our stay. The staircase railing was dangerously unstable, and the dishwasher repeatedly fell out of its housing, both posing safety risks. Additionally, essential amenities such as soap dispensers were empty upon our arrival, and the advertised pool was not functioning during our stay.

It’s unfortunate that the pool was closed during this reservation. It is now open for the summer. The guest would have been offered 2 free nights at a later date, due to the pool being closed, however, they are not welcome back at the property. The staircase was damaged during this reservation by the guest. They brought more children than listed on the reservation , moved beds into different rooms without moving them back and broke the blinds in one of the bedrooms. It’s unfortunate that they choose to loop the fact that they damaged my staircase into their complaint of the pool being closed during their stay for maintenance. While I understand not using the pool was a disappointment, it did not justify the damages to my property. This was disputed with VRBO support.

The house was nice enough, but we choose this house for the HEATED POOL in the description. When I questioned about the heated part, I was told they were working on the pool and they'd let me know updates. I was disappointed it might not be heated, but thought the kids probably would be ok with it. Then when they didn't give me an update, I again asked. Then I was told it wasn't able to be fixed and would not be available for our stay. We were very disappointed. I got the "we are sorry for the inconvience, you can still use the outside area". Sadly half the outside area was nasty dirty, with leaves/debris all over the cushions. The pool cover was full of stagnant water with leaves/debris/mosquito larve. It was definitly not the ambience we wanted to hang out in. The cleanliness of the inside was also not what we expected. The applicances (refridgerator/dishwasher/microwave/stove were all dirty inside and out. Shower glass and bottom of door - dirty. Missing electrical plates to protect from shock from outlets in 2 places (we had a small child with us). When I let the property know I was disappointed in pool situation and then again when I let her know the cleanliness wasn't what I expected, NOTHING was done/offered to help with either situation. I tried send her pics of the inside cleanliness and there is no way to attach pics in this app and she refused to give me an email to send an attachment to. She was totally not concerned ( or didn't show to be). Keep looking

We rented the house for our Women’s Retreat, and we had a wonderful stay. The home was beautiful, clean, and peaceful, making it perfect for our group. We truly appreciated the space.However, I wanted to bring up two small concerns. First, the neighbor on the left side of the property was seen taking a picture in front of the house. This happened only once, but it made some of the women feel a bit uncomfortable as we were unsure of the reason behind it. Secondly, although we did not plan to use the pool, we noticed some fallen leaves in the water and around the pool area. While it wasn't a major issue, it did give the outdoor space a slightly unkempt appearance. We wanted to mention this for your awareness.Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and were grateful to have such a beautiful home for our retreat.

The Mansfield Oasis is a special place for us—a home my late husband and I purchased 8 years ago. From the moment we first saw it, we fell in love with the backyard and knew it would be the perfect spot to entertain our family and friends for years to come.

After a courageous 7-year battle with cancer, my husband passed away. Before he left us, he made one request: that we keep this home so our children could continue to enjoy it. Although I’ve since moved, I wanted to honor his wishes and keep the spirit of his love for hosting guests alive. That’s why I decided to become a rental host, offering our cherished home to others.
