Quaint, eclectic, and fun 1950s cottage with 3 bedrooms ( 4 beds, king in the master, two full beds in the larger guest room, and a queen in the smaller of the guest rooms), 2 bathrooms, and a large fenced yard. Walking distance to shops, Rockport market days, restaurants and Rockport beach. Perfect for a family get away, a weekend with friends or fishing. Summer Wind offers guest all the comforts of home, including beach towels, washer and dryer, grill and fire pit. The large fenced yard is great for a game of cornhole while the front porch offers a gulf breeze to enjoy your morning coffee.

Great location but not well-maintained

We love staying in this area of Rockport! It's so easy to walk downtown or to nearby restaurants or to Rockport Beach! But this particular property wasn't in the best shape...the yard that looked like it hadn't been touched in weeks (stinging nettles everywhere, so no fun playing in the yard for the kids), and management could have done a better job making sure the house was completely ready for guests before their arrival. They were very quick to respond, however, and issues like shower curtain rods and non-working lights were addressed first thing the following morning. I will say that the hall bath is beautifully remodeled, and the dining and kitchen tables were sparkling clean. The house is also fully stocked with games, toys, crayons and coloring books, which was awesome for our kids.
