We enjoyed our stay very much. The house had so much charm. The property was beautiful. There were a few things that may need a little upgrade but because this is such a beautiful historic house, that is expected. I own a 1920s home and understand that not everything is going to be state of the art new. The pool was gorgeous. The back deck was gorgeous. The property exceeding my expectations. The bedrooms were so quiet. You could not hear any noise throughout the home when people were in the common areas. I would stay here again, no question.
Stunning property. The house and surrounding grounds were excellent, well maintained, well presented and well equipped. With daily temperatures in the 90’s the pool was much appreciated and used by my family. The host Carter answered all enquiries quickly, both before and during our visit. Won’t hesitate to book again.
The Stone Rows Farm is tranquil, private, and so welcoming. The pool area is comfortable and was perfect for our large group. We even saw a bald eagle fly over!
Everyone loved the large kitchen table!
The grounds were pristine as was the home. The huge fireplace from the 18th century is absolutely amazing!
We WILL be coming back!

Disappointed and Dirty
I stayed at this rental in July of 2024 with my family. I was extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of the property. There were mouse droppings on kitchen shelves, in pots and pans and dishware. There was a large brown stain on one of the mattresses in the twin bunk room and black mold around the rubber gasket/seal for refrigerator door. Multiple messages were sent to the property manager as we discovered these issues. Carter, the property manager who stated he was sorry for any inconvenience and would address it. On our last night, I sent him a message restating our concerns and I felt we should have our cleaning fee refunded. His ultimate response was we could not have that refunded because we ran the dishwasher, but didn’t empty it prior to departure.
Stone Rows Farm is what dreams are made of…a rare opportunity to step back in time with a peace and serenity that is ever fleeting in our current times. Stone Rows Farm allows for a wholesome family experience at one with nature free from the distractions of technology that reminds us of the blessing of family and inspires new family traditions and lasting memories you would be hard pressed to create anywhere else. From the immaculate upkeep of the property, to the warmth and accommodating heart of Carter the host, memories made playing in the pool, making s’mores at the fire pit, sipping mimosas in the jacuzzi, watching thunderstorms sitting on the front porch, overlooking the beautiful landscape of the farm surrounding the home, visiting the cows and the goat, exploring the red barns, grilling on the back porch overlooking the pond with bass jumping during our cornhole tournaments, sipping morning coffee on the tree swing, watching stars at night, magical evening strolls catching fireflies, saying the pledge of allegiance at the flagpole every morning followed by ringing the bell, our new buddy Stockton the barn cat AKA Frank Sinatra (our family nickname for him),he’s a real lovable crooner! This place is what dreams are made of and is now our new summer Family Tradition! Can’t wait to get back there next summer!!! Thank you to Carter and the owners of the property for sharing this property with us…our family hopes you continue to for years to come!
