About this property
Efficiency in Grand Old Home, Downtown Durham
Cozy 2 room efficiency, lots of natural light, in grand recently renovated 1927 home in Downtown Durham historic Trinity Park, walking distance to Duke campus, parks, restaurants and bars, theaters and much more!
Located on the 2nd floor, there is one generous size bedroom with high ceilings, a second flex room (sleeper sofa, TV and table for eating or working), full bath and small room with dorm fridge, coffee maker and microwave.
Off street parking.
Pet friendly.
No smoking on premises.
I live in the area, but travel a lot. So my friend Emily takes the lead on communicating with you and making the space ready for you.
Historic Trinity Park is one of Durham’s most sought-after neighborhoods, both for its historic architecture and prime location. The tree lined streets connect to parks, Duke’s East campus, and right to the heart of downtown. I love that I can enjoy the peace and quiet on my street, and within a 5 minute walk be in the middle of everything.
Guests have access to their private apartment, shared laundry room, and shared backyard.
As stated in the house rules, there is an automatic minimum $250 service fee for any violations of house rules that require additional cleaning and/or cause damage. This is our home. We have tried to make it comfortable for you and for us, and have been thoughtful in the amenities we provide. We appreciate you for exercising the same level of thought and care when staying here.
While we are happy to host families, please note that the apartment is not “child-proofed,” nor do we provide any child-focused amenities (no crib, pack-n-play, high chair, etc).
We do ask that guests are relatively quiet after 10 PM, as a courtesy to neighbors. Noise travels in the house, and the downstairs apartment will hear you walking around!
Please don't operate the laundry after 9pm.
Parties and loud groups are not permitted. Thanks for helping us be good neighbors.
Smoking or vaping of any substances is not permitted on the premises.
Well-behaved pets are welcome, and must be registered with the reservation. There is a pet fee. Pets cannot be left alone in the back yard.
Reservations longer than 29 nights may incur additional fees.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, guests are expected to abide by CDC/WHO guidelines, as well as all North Carolina and Durham Covid-19 guidelines. Full up-to-date orders can be seen at ncdotgov.
