Rooms with a view
We really enjoyed our stay here. The location on the water was very unique and the absolute selling point. Just know that the house is very old. Very rustic. Really the only complaint I have is in the bathroom is an old fashioned tub which is not conducive for modern bathing. There is not an overhead shower for you to stand under. It is VERY difficult to wash your hair and body while holding the shower head in your hand. The linen shower curtain sticks to you while you are wet and causes gaps which allows for water to get on the floor and drains into the apartment downstairs. It was a huge inconvenience for me as I ended up washing my hair in the kitchen sink downstairs and bathing upstairs. I feel like that could be improved. Possibly with a waterproof vinyl shower curtain and not a linen one that soaks up water. Perhaps a plexy glass enclosure of some sort and a pole to suspend the shower head so you can actually stand under it. Other than that the lack of outlets and having to be mindful that it is an old place and things are wobbly are trivial. All and all Cindi was very kind and a gracious hostess and we appreciated the stay. The location was enjoyable and it was quiet. We did really like it but there is a little room for improvement if I am speaking honestly..

Great house, ships, and town
Great house, quiet neighborhood and lots of great restaurants in walking distance. You could sit out on the porch and waytch all the ships and boats come through.
