Great short trip

We enjoyed a nice trip for the solar eclipse with our family of 7. Everything was well kept. The kids enjoyed catching snakes, playing on the swing set, and exploring the woods. The owners communication with us was top notch! There was plenty of space for everyone. My kids were sad that we only had 2 nights to spend at the home. They advise do not park on the grass and I will add: do not think you can even turn around at the edge of the driveway, it will become an expensive towing mistake. Great home, wonderful small town, quiet and relaxing!

A lovely home and good location

The house is roomy and well laid out and Welland is a delightful town with great proximity to all of the Niagara attractions without having to be in the crush. The beds are good and linens are great, however the living room furniture is attractive but not comfortable. The biggest issue we had was that the internet was MUCH slower than we needed to be able to work remotely. This was disappointing as we made a point of confirming the advertised speed was accurate since we were working remotely while vacationing. The only other downsides would be that the landscaping has been completely ignored except for mowing, the beds around the house and patio are terribly overgrown and full of weeds, and the fountain/ pond is not functional and is a terrible breeding ground for mosquitoes which make being outside quite challenging.

Gorgeous property, comfortable stay

My family and I had a great 8-night stay. Home was sparkling clean with all essentials in order. Beds were very comfortable and the large yard was great for our 3 boys to run around and play. Definitely recommend the place if you are planning a trip to the Niagara region.

Review of home

Nice home, clean. Large unfenced yard. Comfortable beds. Owner allowed dogs which always makes travel easier if you don’t have to board your pets. No TVs but internet access available so it is easy to set up your own device if you want. We brought a Roku and projector for the wall. No master bathroom door. Shower didn’t work and toilet seat was broken but there was a tub and another bathroom to share, just more difficult with several people in the home. Plumber needed to come in the home while we weren’t there but was unable to fix during our stay. Allowed late checkout and was understanding when we ran over time. Nice fireplace with wood provided.

You can take a quick dive and be in Niagara Falls enjoying Clifton Hill or go a little bit further and enjoy the many wineries Niagara has to offer including Wayne Gretzky Winery that offers winter skating and intimate fire pits with wine tasting.
