At the end of a tucked away cul-de-sac through a winding driveway with towering trees on either side you'll reach our beautiful home on the Eagle Ridge South Course!

As you open the front door, you'll be amazed by the spaciousness and be drawn across the living room to a row of French doors, leading to a sprawling deck with an incredible view of rolling hills of the Eagle Ridge South golf course.

Star gaze while soaking in the Hot Tub or have fun in the 1000+ Sq Ft Basement with pool table, foosball, poker table, mini golf, and gaming systems!

If you came for the fresh air there is no better place than these decks to enjoy dinner and drinks or gather 'round to watch the game on the outdoor TV or catch up around the gas powered firepit.

Excellent Place

We stayed here last year and came back this year for our annual skiing trip. We enjoy the house and the space it provides for our family of 10. We definitely would recommend this house.

Galena Home

Very large home that accommodated 8 friends for a wonderful golf weekend. Lovely home with recent updating and many amenities for all of us to enjoy. Would certainly stay there again!

Great Place to stay

We came to the area to go skiing for our daughter's birthday. This place worked out great for us! The location and the house were perfect for our needs. The kids loved the activities in the house and the hot tub was a great way to relax after skiing all day. We wish we could have stayed longer and definitely would consider this house again in the future.

Wonderful Galena getaway

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home! We've stayed many places over the years with our family, and I have to stay this was the most WELL stocked and had ALL the comforts of home!!! Great kitchen: pots/pans/cookie sheets/baking pans, spices, condiments, coffee filters, sugar, K cups (although we brought our own coffee too), etc. The bedrooms were very comfortable and each has its own bathroom - def plus. There is plenty of room to spread out yet also very cozy when we were all together playing games or watching a movie! We'd def consider this home again as we went for a long weekend, and there were things this home had to offer that we didn't even have time for such as the hot tub, fire pit on the deck, etc. GREAT home!! Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful property, and the owners are fantastic! This was our best experience with a VRBO property to date! Galena Territory is a great place to visit with many activities for a variety of ages! The house was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 4 children! Thank you!

Amazing

I can’t say enough wonderful things about our trip! The hosts are amazing. They went above and beyond. Severe storms went through the area and the hosts texted us to make sure we were ok. The house is amazing! We loved the location bc it was on a cul da sac, golf course and only one neighbor close. The house has everything you would need and more. It even had night lights and a step stool for my little one! Can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful Remodeled Galena House

This house in the Galena Territory was spectacular, easily one of the nicest houses we have booked through VRBO. As of spring 2021, much of the interior of the house appears new. We loved the massive basement, with a pool table, poker table, and putting green. The hot tub on the deck off the main floor also appears new, and we used it every day of our stay despite some cool and rainy weather. The house has great views of one of Eagle Ridge golf courses. The owners are terrific and extremely responsive. Probably the only drawback to the house is that in the master bedroom on the main floor, there is a huge skylight that lets in light, and in another bedroom there is also an uncovered window that lets in light. This is not ideal for sleeping late. Other than that issue, the house is a 10 out of 10.

The check-in process was very simple. The house is amazing! We especially enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen and spacious eating area. Our hostess was very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely book this property the next time my family visits Galena.

6 friends and myself have done a yearly trip to the Galena area for golf and just relaxing for the past 5 years. Out of all the houses we stayed at, this was by far the best. There was plenty of room both upstairs and downstairs for us to hang out, along with a big deck that included a hot tub. Usually with pictures of houses on Vrbo or elsewhere the house looks bigger than it actually is. In this case it was the opposite. The pictures don’t do it justice. Location was great. Just minutes from golf on site and 15 minutes from the other course not on property.The property manager was very accommodating and attentive, and even allowed early check in on short notice. All around great experience, and will definitely stay here again if available on future trips!

The house was amazing but even better was the host! We lost power for about 3 hours during our stay due to a storm and she ordered flashlights to be delivered to the house. She also called the power company to report the outage. She was very quick to help and keep checking in on our family. We had 2 babies with us so this was very helpful! We would definitely stay here again!

Great Thanksgiving Family Trip

We had a wonderful time at this property for a family thanksgiving trip. Plenty of bedrooms and a wonderful basement space filled with endless fun. Great views overlooking the golf course. Easy access to route 20 to get into Galena quickly as well. Would definitely stay here again. Great trip!

Nice, clean, big house

We had a group of 9 all over 25. The house is in a nice location that is private but close to territory amenities & jumping on road to downtown Galena. It is very clean, lots of updates, and amenities. Host was very responsive. Wonderful it is pet friendly. Would recommend. pet friendly. Would recommend to others.

Great Weekend Getaway

We had a great family weekend getaway! The house was perfect with more than enough room and lots of stuff to do. The kids loved the game room downstairs and the pools at the owners club. We will definitely consider this house again if we go back to Galena.

Perfect Property for a Golf Trip

Our annual Guys Trip took us to Galena this year and this was the perfect property for us. There were 8 of us and we each had comfortable sleeping arrangements and more than enough space to hangout during the mornings and evenings. Lia was such a good host and communicated often and offered assistance if we needed anything during our stay. If we come back to Galena again next year, we will definitely stay at this property!

Why they chose this property

The Galena Territory is a semi-private, 6,800-acre private recreational and residential lake community located six miles outside the historic city of Galena in Northwest Illinois. This property is above the rest! Two balconies overlooking the 4th hole on the south course, most gorgeous view!!! There is so much space and that basement is huge and cozy. This house has so much to do; deck full of seating and TV to catch a game while catching up, grill and a smoker to feed all your loved ones. Hot tub; 4 seasons room for lounging.. This home really has it all! You will not be disappointed.
